Hello, my dear Abandonias. I just feel so happy today, it's a beutfiul day here in Reykjavík, Iceland, 12°c and raining. But still, it's a great day. The air is so.... fresh! I think. I haven't actually been outside. But still, amazing. And I am extremely happy right now... :D

So now I ask you, how has your day been so far? How are you feeling?Aren't everybody having a ball? :?: :D

I'm about to go to work, that might take away the magical feeling of happiness I'm feeling right now... but then the right thing is to enjoy this feeling! And I know I'm expecting a phone call from a loved one I miss really much and that makes me feel even more happy about this great day! :D

Some Magic cards I have been waiting for for about a month have finally arrived today. Not enough to make a new deck out of unfortunatly but it is a good step in the right direction.

I broke the impossible 1000 post barrier, so I am happy. And soon I will complete another drawing. 8)

Just ruined my savegame from Baldur's Gate 2, which I started today, because I installed the Valen NPC-mod. As she is a vampire fighter / thief, I kicked Yoshimo out of the party, told him to wait in Copper Coronet. Now, Valen is rather game-fun killer, so I wanted Yoshimo back, but he isn't there, in the Coronet :x
Now I have to start the game new from scratch again, but not before removing the mod again...
Oh well, perhaps I will rather play Gothic 2 now...
At least I reached 650 posts, nothing that could mess with Tom, but still

Lucky you

Don't speak so soon, I just spent all day digging holes in my back garden in the hot sunlight and mud.

How hot?

Havell

I don't know, it wasn't that hot because I live in England and it's always cold here but it felt hot because I was shovelling earth for 4 hours.

Why people in England like gardening so much?

Havell

It's not me who likes gardening, it's my parents, I'm getting paid ?50 (70 Euros) for digging the pond and seeing as it's the holidays and I have nothing else to do I think the money is worth it.

I just wanted to say baldur's gate 2 rules, if you ever need help in it, let me know I've beaten it a couple of times. My day is going alright, I'm actually at work right now, waiting to close the store in 20 minutes. Working at a gaming store rocks!

Hurrah for Magic cards! I stopped buying them about four years ago because all of the new...uh...forgot the word already...versions I guess? Series? Well I disliked them because of all the weird new rules. So now I just play with my brother on old ones such as Ice Age, Fourth Age and whatever.

Hey, I for myself have beaten it, together with Throne of Bhaal, at least 17-18 times already :D
So if you need help, just ask

Well, just in any case, I used all the cheats on the game too, so I guess I know it from up to the bottom like my five fingers. 8)

Hehe, I don't want to get in the middle of this. Yeah, personally I really loved all the infinite Engine games, I was so mad when they changed it for Neverwinter Nights, I can't stand those games!! Although if anyone feels the same way I do about these games, check out Knights of the Old Republic that game rocks!!

Neverwinter nights is brilliant! The best character to play as is a half-orc monk using only his bare hands, you get hugh bonuses to unarmed strike as you level-up. Oh, and if you get to level 20 you get a feat that not only gives you all sorts of bonuses but makes your eyes glow! it looks really good.

That's interesting...But the reason I never liked never winter nights is because is was a lot like diablo, and I'm not the biggest fan. I thought it was not the smartest move to just change a system that baiscally sold those games in the day. Oh, well, I don't want to get the soap box out,

Diablo wasn't that bad, actually. Especially Diablo II is still played today on the Battle-net (by me among the others  ).
But about Neverwinter Nights I have to agree with you, with one exception: the graphics are not that bad, just think of that Balor or the iron golem, they look fantastic, compared to their appearances in Baldur's Gate 1+2. But the story of Neverwinter is pretty weak, at least the first one. I don't have the addons yet, so I cannot say if the story is better again in them...
And until then Baldur's Gate 2 is as yet the unbeaten best game for me, with only exception of Dungeon Keeper 1, so let's say, they both are the best games I own at the moment.

P.S. You say too, you played Baldur's Gate 2 often - did you notice during the loading-screens there appears following message: The game doesn't end with Baldur's Gate 2, you can import your character from Baldur's Gate 2 into Neverwinter Nights? There is a extra, final savegame made at the end of Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal too, extra for that.
All bullsh**! That isn't true, they lied, I bought Neverwinter Night mainly because of this too, but I was that much disappointed this wasn't true... :x :(
Because of this I only get to buy the two addons for Neverwinter Nights and after that I never buy any game from BioWare again...

Hehe, yea I did notice that on the loading screen. I never tried to upload my character, but I did buy neverwinter nights, something I still regret to this day. Luckily my dad bought the game off me, and he also bought the add ons. He said the game as a whole was deffinatly a step down. If you really like the baldurs gate games, then you should really try Knights of the Old Republic if you haven't already. Although not entirely similar to the baldur's gate games, it is very close. It was a great game, especially if you enjoy star wars. Only complaint is it was a little too short.
