Hey. As much as I love this site and it's quality, I can't help but notice how dreadful the bootdisk really is.
There's absolutely no easy way for newbies to choose what memory manager to use. Imagine if someone gave a newbie the bootdisk and told them they need to play soccer kid without EMS...
Furthermore, many new computers seems to have problems with either EMM386 or QEEM386.
And the feature I find is lacking the most: Why is there no possibility of actually installing it on the HD, from the disk? Would make an awful lot easier if people want to fiddle with an old puter / install DOS on their own.
I know a lot of people could do a new, but noone has yet :P So I'm offering to do a new one. I won't do right now, as I'm in the middle of my exams, but in a week or so, I could possibly find a night to do it.
But before I do, I'd like to hear if people are using the bootdisk at all. Would you be interested in a better bootdisk?
