Look, I dont want to look like Sister Sarah here, but I think this site needs more restrictions in the forums. like language, etc.... :tomato:

be specific - if you see someone getting round the profanity filter, report the post as such and the admins can update the filter and tell off the offending person.

Or is it more ment in a soloiologic way??
Like the whole nation needs more respect for the old people here??
I think that would be a good idea..so on you're knees little smurfs:
Pray for the Worm :kosta: :kosta: :kosta:
hehehe...just a joke, just a joke :max:
I've always considered this forum to be very polite most of the times. There's hardly any profanity, at least not in the threads I read... And indeed, you can report anyone you think is overdoing it on the foul language!

Cleanest ... forum ... EVER!
Seriously, if anyone's bypassing it hit report and the mods'll sort 'em out.

Well.. we have a pretty undemocratic structure with Admins acting like "cleaners".
It is one of the best way to keep a forum in decent shape.
BUT, if you have ANYTHING you think we should change/add, say so,
We'r always open to sugestions, we might just choose to ignore them ;)
Our golden rule is: Use common sence! Act like if it was IRL.

I agree with all you guys. The site forums and everything are very clean. the profanity filters work fine. What I was actually talking about was Titan's avatar: it might be a little too...ahem...graphic for the minors on this site. You'd be surprised how many 13-18 year-olds are on this site....

The little middle-schoolers probably look at it like this: :w00t:

Well, it's not only CLEAN, the execution of the rules is not NAZI (and I've been banned from a forum led that way once - okay, I'm not really polite, but... if I happen to say something that might slightly - I mean slightly - annoy another person about once every 4 months... does this mean I am what, an utter social degenerate?), and most of all, it's all pretty CIVIL. :ok:
If your hormones are bothering you when you look at Titan's avvie, and you have a problem with that, you can disable the display of the avatars in 'My Controls' -> 'Board Settings' -> "Do you wish to view members avatars when reading topics?" and turn it off. Titan's avvie has been the topic of discussion a while back, but personally I don't see any problems with it (nor am I in a position to actually have an influence on that)...

Okay. Lets close the subject right now. I personally have no problem with his avatar. It simply surprised me when i was under the impression that this site was completely free of profanity and graphic imagery. There. I shouldnt have opened my mouth. Plus, im changing my age on my profile. again. :ranting: :ranting:

his signature technically breaks the sig rules too (HASTY EDIT: as does mine, of course), but we let him get away with it. maybe because nobody notices if they're looking at his avatar...

I nearly gasped while reading this topic  Really, concerning sexual and violent contents, it's like living in Inquisition days all over again (not meant as a critic, you guys are just harsh). If one drawing of a semi-naked woman offends you, you probably don't have a TV, you have the best popup blocker of all the internet, and you will probably have social issues in the future as well too.

Nice points, Lethe.
But if you were paying attentioin, its not that the picture offends me or shocks me, its that it annoys me that this website would even have the hint of nudity after claiming that it was perfectly clean. Trust me, I -have- seen worse on the net.
P.S. I do have the best popup blocker on the net. I almost never see them.

We probably did - I would have done. Some contructive criticism is very different from "This site sucks my ballz0rz!"

Change of subject: have any of you guys tried Lord of the Rings: The battle for middle earth? an excellent strategy game, with very contemperary graphics
(came out last year) I played for about two weeks straight, then got bored of the repetition. But i would recommend it to anyone who likes strategy games that involve you taking over the world.
What? Silly me, but of course you've played it! Right?

Mission 2: Welcome to The Land Just East of Rohan! You have the same base with the same army and the same enemy!
