Ultima 4 Reagens

Somehow,i cant buy any reagens in Ultima 4. Why?
Is it because im no wizard or is it a some sort of bug?

What happens when you try to buy reagents from a person who has them from sale? You type in the letter of the reagent you want--and what occurs?

I believe there's actually a screen to view your reagents on-hand. Are you sure you're looking at it, rather than just looking in regular inventory?

If that's not the problem, then yes, it sounds like a bug.

I know it might sound weird or stupid but try to look at the ground to see if the reagents are not there.

If not, if I recall well then you need to do a special command to "mix" reagents in order to be able to cast spells in Ultima IV... But is been so long since I played... I might be wrong here.

He won't find the reagents on the floor in Ultima IV. In Ultima VI or VII, yeah, that's a good possibility. :)
