Hello all. I have never been much into video games, but i remember that back arround 1993 i used to play this amazing arcadia/adventure game wich I cant remember its name. The only thing i remember is that it has a long intro where this guy walks into an office at night, sits on a desk and starts using his computer (i think it was a laptop)... then a ligthning strikes the office and he is transported to another dimention. Now in the game the first thing you must do is to jump some black creatures crawling in the floor. Sorry about my bad english.

Anyone can help? I want to know the name of this game. I know lots of games started that way... but maybe one of you might remember the exact one.

Sounds like Another Wolrd (http://www.abandonia.com/games/30/Another_World.htm). Unfortunately it's ESA protected.

Sure you can. At least I think so. But you need the game first, and since it's ESA protected you won't find it on abandonia.

You could try to find the game elsewhere, or get the Atari ST version of it (easier) and an ST emulator for your MAC (must be one but don't know for sure).

Why is Another World protected by ESA? Isn't Delphine Software long long dead?

It's because Interplay distributed that game.

But I believe this being partially right, as I remember U.S. Gold distributing the game.

Well, U.S. Gold was taken over by Eidos, so in either case it's ESA protected.
