This post is from me and Puff|n...
And NO we do NOT know each other, we are complete strangers sitting in the same room using the same computer playing Aladdin and Jones in the Fast Lane.

Now please adopt a puff|n, or else :banana: will come to your house and annoy you :D

Well, you know, actually holding a puffin (or Puf-fin) as your domestic animal is not that easy thing:
1. You have to provide to it the original feeling of their natural living place (and you possibly couldn't freeze over your flat like Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin)
2. It is rather large animal and as such needs much place to be able to walk and (possibly) fly - which makes a flat an unfit place to hold the puf-fin.
3. You will have to give them to eat whatever they eat usually - fresh fishes, I assume (I'm not sure exactly about that, but would be logical), and I don't think you can get that much fresh fishes, if at all, to get a puf-fin fed.

Aside from all that, it's of course interesting idea :wink:

Nah they're not talking about holding it as a domestic animals, you just send them money and they take care of it!! :)
Puf-fins don't live on a frozen ground.... in holes in the ground or on cliffs! And they're not so big!
I would like to have one as a domestic pet, though.... *think**think*....
I really like puf-fins!!! :wink: And they taste really REALLY good, as well :D ... They're my fav animal!!! :wink:

I've seen adds to adopt polar bears (you technically just donate and you get some benefits like pictures of it and such).

Nah. The usage of smileys is up to the person who choose to include them in his or hers message.

If I, for example, started to include 50 copies of this guy **** :shock: You would get pretty sick of him in the end as well. Smileys have a purpose: To enhance the feel of the post. And the Banana-Man can indeed do this to a lot of posts.

My school happens to be known in my home country as a hippy/communist school.... So I don't mind being called a hippy... And they say that 90% of students in my school are stoners.... Well, at least my English teacher is!
Well, because my English teacher is stoned all the time, he forgot to teach me the meaning of the word "spam", but I guess it means... well... ó?arft kjaft??i sem kemur fólki í uppnám.

Kiddiarni, the word spam refers to a kind of pressed meat that comes in tins and it existed before computers. The way it came to mean "unwanted e-mail" is through a British comedy scetch form a show called "Monty Python's Flying Circus" in which a man is in a restaurant full of vikings where everything is served with spam, when he asks why spam is with everything all the vikings start laughing at what a stupid question it is and then they all singing "Spam, spam, spam! Spam, spam, spam!!".

newbie comes from that stupid characteristic that heavy online gamers always want to develop some geeky new sound to an existing word. For a specific group of gamers it seems the more 1337w00tl0l's you can speak, the bigger your e-pen*s grows. :shock:

instead of someone being ''good'' someone has to be ''elite'' but because elite doesn't sound ''cool'' enough, they change it to l33t, then to 1337. because making sentences with numbers is ''cool''.

a positive thing to this multiplayer dialect is that you can always spot the most diehard players of the game, and avoid them.
