View Full Version : Voyeur
Hello everyone, thank you for such a wonderfull web site. I am looking for a game, I dont really know the name of it but I can describe it.
Its a mystery type of who-done-it, its a outside view of a large mansion with dozens and dozens of windows (like what you would see if you were looking at the house from the street). If you move your mouse over a window, you can hear what's going on in the room. If you click on a window, you can see the action thats happened in the room. You are investigating something, i think a murder. It has motion video and real actors. I think one of the actors was Robert Culp.
I thought it was a good game when I played it, but I was never really able to solve it.
Any ideas and is it abandonware ?

Voyeur is the title of the game. There was also a sequel IIRC.
Old game, 94-95 by Interplay IIRC.
Interplay is unfortunately as from last year dead, but I don't know who has the rights for this game, if anyone.
Thats it. Here is a good link that describes the game.

Now all I want to do is to try to locate a copy. Does anyone know if its abandonware for download? Thanks.

It's a 4 cd game, so I doubt you will find it in a site, unless without the videos, which kind of takes all the fun of it. Especially for this game that it is all about the videos with the very fine women. :D
Good luck, try Amazon (uk and us) that have copies of the sequel, while a quick search of ebay did reveal one selling the first one.

Too bad. They should have just let those rights float around in limbo.
I read in a trade mag a few months ago that the heads of vivendi wanted the rights to these games so they can own the rights to the characters should they ever want to make any action fantasy movies based on the characters. vivendi is still mostly a Universal Studios company so it makes sense.
