These T-Shirts, are we designing logos for just the front of the shirt or can there be designs on both the front and back?

Designs for front & back are acceptable, just make sure to note which side is which in your submission :ok:

In response to a small misunderstanding on how to submit an image:
Basic Guidelines for creating an image:
File Formats: PNG and JPG are acceptable. PNG is recommended, as it will tend to have better quality.
Resolution: 300dpi!!! Kosta insists upon this resolution, for quality purposes. Most graphics editors will have a control for this setting when starting a new file.
File Size: The maximum file sizes CafePress recommends are as follows:
PNG: 4MB
JPG: 7MB
Design Tips:
Designs should not be applied to the product you wish to submit for. All text and images should be presented as their own file, without the product. If you wish to see how your image will look on a product, use the Create It! link on any of the product's pages.
Try to keep designs clean and simple, as that is what will turn out best.
Use common sense, don't use slogans that could be offensive.
Other than that, the sky's the limit.
If you're having trouble, there is a list of downloadable example templates (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/templates.aspx) available at CafePress (follow the link provided).

Are white t-shirts the only colour we can design for? Or can we make designs for any colour t-shirt?

The tees will come in white only (or slightly off-whitish in the case of the organic T-shirt), so please design accordingly :)

I would have to call *cow poo* on that. the document You refered us to, clearly states, that dpi is a print setting, not a picture setting. which menas that any picture can be printed at 300 dpi, it's just a question of size (a 100x100 pixel image would be about a centimeter high at this setting), so what size do we aim at?

Sigh.
Once again, let me post this link:
PRODUCT IMAGE TEMPLATES (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/templates.aspx)
Please note the column that lists the image dimension.
Kosta wants the images at 300dpi. Period. Whether you think that's *cow poo* or not. The images should be ready for printing when he selects the winners.
So, when starting a new image for a T-shirt, please put the settings for 10in x 10in at 300dpi.
However, I did just realize that displaying such images will be difficult on the forum. So here's what we'll do:
Make your images at the required printing size, resolution, file type, etc., and save.
Then resize your file to a desired reasonable display size, save, and post that to the forum.
Contact me via PM, and we'll set up a time and way for me to collect your image's print version for verification. If I haven't received your print file before the contest ends, then your submission will be disqualified.
I will do my best to work with all people wishing to submit in order to make sure your files meet the requirements before the contest ends. That doesn't mean I'll do all the work for you, obviously, but if something's wrong with your files, I'll let you know.

This is a pixel I created in med-class, and later improved in MS Paint ages ago.
It might give some of you guys some ideas :)
Note that I designed College JACKETS, and that we don't want ideas for College Jackets :ok:

It's still open for another month (I hope), is it not? At least, I was counting on this. If not, please allow another week, so I can finish up my entry!
