View Full Version : Snowblind
It has been a dream of mine for a while to make a horror/adventure game (think Alone it the Dark), Yet at the same time, I cant program my way out of a paper bag. I would like someone, or a group, to help me with this. I choose to take full creative control, though at the same time suggestions are allowed. Heres a synopsis, just so you know what you may be working with.
SNOWBLIND
The year, 1975, the place Snowblind, Colorodo. A man by the name of Charles Mathews dies of a sudden anuresim, though no headakes have been reported from him in the last 100 hours. The only evidence found was some unidenifiable skin tissue. Labeled as a cold case, it was nevr brough up until now. You Greg Mathews (no relation) are invited to a ski lodge in the town, and in a freak twist of events find out about Charles Matthews death, and much more.
Feel free to talk about it here. It would make me happier than this guy: :Brain: if you hopped on.

What graphical style'd you have in mind? Early Sierra adventures? Sierra adventures like Quest for Glory? LucasArt adventures? Realistic, but in the classic style? 3D like Gabriel Knight 3? Anything else besides those?
Sorta like 5 days a stranger, if you mind.

Well, 5 Days A Stranger's made with AGS, and that one doesn't require any high programming skills. I'm sure of one member on here that uses it to make games. You can also check the Essentials and Tutorials threads, as AGS's listed in there :ok:
Well, you dont think ive tried, do ya! The main problem to is that I cant sprite, either! Truthfully, I just want this to be a team effort also, cause it helps to share a sense of accomplishment.

Well, Im gonna want someone who can sprite what I dish out, Someone good with creepy, atmospheric sound, a head programer, and at the last part, a great audience whos ready for some creepy crud commin their way.
Of course, we can always go out for VOICEOVERS!!

I'm not totally devoid of acting talent and I'm willing to do some voice-overs.

Sino, you need to be a little more specific with what you want. Write some dailogue and the background for the people you are creating and then I can get you some lines.
