The length of the DL time depends on your connection. Civ2 is only 20 megs so it shouldn't take too long to dl...

Just making sure, also the two main netstorm sites (HQ and World) are both undergoing fixes and such to improve them and get new players so they might be a bit odd...in some ways...maybe.

A great online game is MU online but it takes a lot of time to download. However, it's playable even with slow connections like my sluggish 56k

Its a vary interesting game and has quite a bit of a differnt style of play from most other stratagy games that I have played :wink:

And what type of game is it what do you do?

A great online game is MU online but it takes a lot of time to download. However, it's playable even with slow connections like my sluggish 56k

I played Mu online. it was pretty funny in the beginning, till I suddenly got an error and couldn't log in anymore :shock:

I also get an error message but it does not affect the game

otherwise..buy half-life and install Natural selection :AR:

a great online game

1 team humans , 1 team aliens

1 human is a commander which sees the whole map top down and controls the rest of the team like puppets (like warcraft) , the rest of the team has to follow orders and build structures, kill aliens etc and see everything like a normal fps.

aliens are less groundbreaking, but still very cool to play. especially when the human team doesn't know what they are doing :twisted:

Natural Selection is fun. I played it for a while but it's time to move onto Doom 3 then skip over to HL 2 in September.

Try the free trial. You either love it or don't bother playing, I never met players "in the middle".
