Hi, I think there's a virus in the Italian language of the site. When I open abandonia.com/it it appears a password request and an audio file saying pc is infected. Does anyone noticed it? If so, please resolve, thank you

It's clear for me now. But I believe, it's not site itself but some malicious ads that auto-loaded from some depository. I seen such things several years ago, and it was not reproducible for everyone else. I only can suggest to use good antivirus and block ads. :|

If you take a screenshot I can send it to the owner to try and make them remove the ad

Same thing as described from first post, only without password (maybe because I _have_ ads blocked). Happens every time when I am visiting Abandonia, but only once per day. :| For me it plays audio, and simultaneously tries to save random trash. After message ends, page hangs.

Happens for me as well. :suspicious:

I'm using Firefox and have both the uBlock Origin and NoScript addons installed. Like Smiling Spectre, it happens once per day. It's been that way for about a week or so. Seems like an SQL injection on your server.

Here's what I saw today:

I've tried bringing it to their attention, no one responds.

It happened to me also. Try to fix this.

I've emailed Abovo, let's hope they take a minute to remove this crap

Please beware the same happens on mobile as well. I'd urge everyone to be vigilant, and use adBlock on mobile too if possible. One of the pop ups pretends to be some sort of Microsoft spoof, has anyone else seen it? I'll try to screenshot it next time.

Adblock doesn't guarantee blocking it.

I have exactly AdBlock, and it didn't help.

Today I didn't get "virus" message though, so maybe it's finally fixed.

While I got the message a week ago, I haven't gotten one today.

I have the same problem and it is happening on the English version of Abandonia too. I see now that in the screenshot posted by Doomz that it is also from the English version.

Unfortunately, Adblock Plus only blocks ads. However, the most fundamental would be to install script filter extensions / add-ons such as NoScript, ScripSafe, etc.

Both Adblock Plus and NoScript / ScripSafe protect well against malicious and dangerous ads and sites.
