Where is the Space Quest series? Anyway, my vote goes to Maniac Mansion 1 and 2, because Day of the Tentacle was actually good enough to make up for the the first game, which I still hate because I couldn't complete it. :tai:

Never mind. It made it easier for me to decide.:) Although, come to think of it, I did like the first two Indiana Jones games as well. But The Infernal Machine just felt wrong...

It is hard to pick one between so many good adventure games (like Dig, Indy4, etc.) but if I have to, I go with Full Throtle.

Hard to pick one. I chose QFG (Not 5, that crappy 3d poop) because of it's innovative system, decent storyline and how it pushed the constraints of the SCI interpreter.
I picked QfG, too, although, like the rest of you guys, I really hate to pick just one.

I voted Sam and Max, the humour of the game always gives me a laugh, very great style for when it came out, love playing the game, the talkie version really adds to the great feeling.

My vote goes to king's quest, but for a rather unique reason: I kind of think the death scenes in the game, particularly the second one, are kind of funny. Al;so, they are very challenging to me, the puzzles being very unique.
THough.,.. as a side note, I like Legend of Krandia 3. three guesses as to why. *Sinister Laugh*

This poll is damn hard to vote on :-/ I can't decide, there are so meny terrific games in it .... I think ... knocking mad bikers from their seat was pretty cool ... or watching skeletons dance ... or let a lil bunny hurt a lil cat on the street ... damn, I really can't decide :(

A very hard choice, but in the end I had to go with Monkey Island. I think that MI1&2 were the two games that really made the genre into my favourite- although I already loved the previous P&Cs that I had played, it wasn't until Secret of Monkey Island that I realised just how totally awesome Point & Clicks were.
BTW, you missed the Discworld and Broken Sword series. They were my first P&Cs.

Gabriel Knight : Sins of Fathers ,which not in list (why ?). Great story ,graphics , great music & voiceover .Sometimes puzzles too illogical , but it's best adventure game i ever played .

I voted for the Monkey Island series that obviously is going to win this poll...
In my opinion the sublime creation of Ron Gilbert is THE adventure game! :kosta:
But in this poll there is a strange thing: why, at the moment, MI is the most voted and i'm the only writing about it?
Hurry up, Guybrush fans!! Vote and write how much you love this game!!!
Well, perhaps i'm a bit exalted... :Brain:

Well you don't have my favourite adventure (Ripley's Believe It or Not!: [/B]The Riddle of Master Lu[/B]) so I voted for MI series.

I was lucky when i found the collection couple of years ago.

I accidentally pushed the null-vote button (my mouse is revolting, or something like that), but just add one vote to the discworld series; few games have actually had me rolling over the floor, laughing.

I voted LSL, it was the most entertaining for me out of the bunch, I got stuck in Monkey Island one too many times, DoTT would come in second, I started playing Sam&Max, looks great...
I would vote Space Quest, if it were up there.

Favourite Adventure Game .... mmm
Broken Sword 1 and Grim Fandango
I can't choose, so they both make my favourite. Grim Fandango made me feel like I was in an old movie - Broken Sword, like I was a detective.
Heck, I don't even think a book would have been as good as I found those 2 games to be. Those 2 games in particular were so great, because of the characters and story.
Aah Glottis ...
The sneezing guy in Ireland ...
some good gaming memories those.
My all time favourites those 2, with The Longest Journey just behind.

Ah well, not that important, is it.
I'll just say it again:
Discworld has one more vote.

Can't rate. I'm not going to equate a single excellent game with a series that had excellent and poor titles in it. Maybe do two polls?
