I am sorry guys, but for some reasons out of my control I will not be around for a long time.

Hopefully the site will continue to prosper and get more members and games, even though I will not be here to welcome them.

During the short time I have been on this site I have experienced so much fun and learned so much. I have even witnessed the site blow the server CPU to hell and back, because we had 50 visits per second!

The site have bestowed me with many good times, and I hope that I will return to see that the site have grown.

I promise you that I will return as soon as humanly possible.

By the way, I have given Kosta some laws to obey...
You other Abandonians out there must see to it that he follows these rules!
I place my trust in you...

1.
Keep Abandonia in Top Shape until I return!
(Hopefully get a bigger server!)

2.
We are on an extremely good update roll!
I expect to be able to look through the news archive and see that you have uphold this...

3.
Place Braindead and R Havell in the VIP group. They have earned it!

4.
Have fun while I am away! And always wear clean underwear. Be nice to people, and don't stay up so late at night! Study hard and make your mommy proud!

The last rule goes for all of you!

And I see I have some explaining to do...

First of all. This is what happened...

Short Story:
I had to send "my" modem to Svalbard. Didn't have enough cash to buy a new one. And all of my friend were on holidays, so I could not borrow one.
Things looked bad!
But my grandmother gave me 20 000 kr (2 000 Euro) today. Just like that. No explanation. Just a gift. Thanks, grandma :wink:
So now I have bought a new modem.

Long Story:
I was happily browsing the internet, when my mother called from Svalbard. Apparantly the modem I have been using all this time, was hers... And since she decided to use the internet up there, she needed HER modem. So I had to send it up to her the very next morning...

That kinda sucked, but not as much as the four bills I had recieved two days before. The first bill was 3 000 kr for a Spanish Course. The second was 3 100 kr for the plane-ticket to Spain this September. The third was 9 900 kr for the Appartment Rent in Spain. And the fourth was 54 000 kr for the Admission fee for the University. Together this makes 70 000 kr, or around 7 000 Euro...

Needless to say, that places me in debt. I currently have -100 kr in my bank account... So I could not buy a new modem. That left the option of borrowing a modem from a friend, but they were all on vacation. (Except for one, but he needed his... see previous topic). So I had no possible way of connecting to the net.

Then suddenly I get a call from my grandma today, where she tells me that she has placed 20 000 kr in my bank account as a gift. That totally blew my mind, so after thanking her a lot... I went to the nearest computer shop and bought a modem.

So I am back online, again. And I hope I will be for a long time to come. And for all of you who are happy that I am back, you should thank my grandma. Had it not been for her I would have been without a internet connection at least 2 weeks, maybe even more.
