Abandonia overloaded the server!

Well, just thought I should put this in the announcements since this is the first time something like this has happened.

The site was suspended for a few minutes because it overloaded the server. Why? Because it was getting around 50 visits per second!!! :shock:

Yay for us! :)

I guess its time to move to a dedicated server.....

Probably because of Little Big Adventure being added, there are a lot of people looking for that game. I used to be one of them. :)

It's a very popular game. (it even has it's very own big forum somewhere.)

And maybe because every day there's a new game, so there's something new for everyone to download. This is certainly most active abandonware site :) If you keep this tempo without loosing quality, it will soon become biggest and most popular. Of course, this will be hard without Tom :(

Yeah with Tom gone the speed will be lower but I have some games lined up for abandonia. If only I had the time to put them on.
