Also look there for my suggestion of uploading it: I like Sam & Max Hit The Road with their sarcastically and sometimes sadistically humour. It's definitely a good game of that time.
I have the game on one of my CD's too, so I could upload it to the site.
Shall I? :)
I think lucas arts games are usually well copyrighted.

From where?!
I mean... I can buy it on Ebay or in some second-hand shop, but those don't count! LucasArts won't have anything to do with it, if I understand them correctly. :?

Lucasarts doesn't abandon games. Just genres, principles and fans.

My favorite part of the game is how Sam gets the key from Conroy Bumpass. Do you remember playing the VR game and pulling the sword out of the rock. Remember what happens to Max?
Just go and play the game again...

Yeah... kinda pissed off that LucasArts cancelled sam and max 2: Freelance Police!
yet the petition that went around did have a effect. And some awesome sequals like Beneath A Steel Sky2 are coming out soonish. Oh and not to mention the wonderful Stargate game made with the Doom3 engine. :rifle: :pimp:

I would like to see Full Throttle and Sam and Max hit the Road Demos, if not the full version. I used to have a whole collection of Lucas Arts games, and I see Dune can be downloaded, why not Full Throttle or Sam and Max?
Tom Henrik
16-06-2005, 09:06 PM
Full Throttle and Sam & Max are both still sold, and both are also ESA Protected. We won't host them.
A. J. Raffles
17-06-2005, 06:53 AM
I think he said he wanted the demos, not the full versions, actually.
Anyway, unless I'm very much mistaken Abandonia doesn't do demos. Sorry.
Tom Henrik
17-06-2005, 11:35 AM
Yeah, no demos. We would be lynched by the users.

Why, I have it  :D
A. J. Raffles
10-03-2006, 06:43 AM
So do I. But as you can easily see by having a look at this list (http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3424), it's one of those games that are about as protected as can be, so it won't be added to the site.

Come on, this is covered in stickies at the top of this forum. Check them next time before you request a game.
This game has been requested _MANY_ times over.
And the answer was always the same: it is protected by ESA. We won't add it.
Which you should have noticed when looking through the past requests you mentioned.
