Let's see.......still getting picture......still......*The system has overloaded. Don't try to count your computers anymore!*

Seriously, when I counted the all up, I realised I have 8 working computers. *I wont give you my home adress!*

This one on which I'm working right now is:
- AMD Athlon XP 1800+
- 265MB RAM
- GeForce 2 MX 400
- HDD 80GB Samsung
- CD-RW Samsung

Others are:
- Amstrad (or Amsoft) - you play this one by putting tapes inside
- 386, 400MB HDD,... - A machine I tell you!
- 233MMX, 2MB S3 Trio, 2GB HDD,...
- AMD Athlon XP 2000+, cca 350MB RAM, 60GB HDD,.... =>My brother's
- P3 833MHz, 60GB HDD,....=>My father's
- Celeron, 15GB HDD,... => My younger brother's
- AMD Athlon XP 2000+, GeForce 4 128MB, 120GB HDD, 512MB RAM,.... => Server (yes, I do have server and net in my house in Italy - the bad thing is that I live in Croatia with my mom)

<Takes deep breath>...

I have (from newest to oldest... roughly):

1) P4 2.8GHz, 512 PC3200, GFX5900XT, 74GB WD Raptor
2) PIII-S 1.4GHz (512k L2 Cache), 512 PC133, GfTi4200, 40GB WD
3) Athlon 1GHz (SlotA), 392MB PC133, Gf3-Ti500, 40GB WD
4) Dell PowerEdge 2400 Server (2x P3-1GHz), 1Gig PC133 ECC, 90GB RAID0
5) K6-III+ 450MHz, 192MB PC100, ATI Radeon 32MB DDR, 10GB
6) Dual PII-300MHz, 392MB 60ns EDO, ATi Xpert@Play, 20GB
7) Dual P5-200MHz, 128MB 60ns EDO, Dual Voodoo2 12MB SLI, 6GB
8) AMD X5-133MHz, 64MB 70ns FPM, S3 Trio64, 1.6Gb
9) i486 DX2-66MHz, 64 70ns FPM, Trident 8900C, 250MB
10) AMD 386-40MHz, 8MB 30pin, Trident 8900C, 120MB
11) Packard Bell iForce (286-12MHz), 2MB DRAM, 40MB
12) IBM XT 5160 (8088-4.77MHz), 640k, 40MB RLL

...<exhales>..
And, yes, they all currently work. I have a NIC in each one so they can connect to my windows shares on my PowerEdge to transfer files (cheaper + faster than using floppies).

See why I never bother with DosBox? Why bother when I have the real thing... Hehe. :ok:

i have a Athlon 550 that is so loosely put together and beat up software-wise that i'm the only person in the entire world who can get it to work :D

*example* i have to keep my finger on F8 when it starts, and then disable/enable the video card and press space twice...

no i'm not kidding

I have a couple of machines.

My main computer is AMD A64 3400+, 1GB DDR RAM, 240GB HDD, 9600PRO (will be upgrading very shortly)

My old computer is Athlon 900Mhrz, 384 SDRAM, 30GB HDD, GF2MX (this one is for sale if you want it)

I also have a decades old MSX (50Hz, 64KB RAM don't laugh it was a nice machine in its time)

Lastly I own a Pocket PC iPaq rx3715

Moved to technical stuff as it belongs here.

Is 64bit machine worth to get?

Also, I asume that your video card is AGP. Is it worth to get that new kind of video cards? (with possibility to have 2 video cards in the same PC)

The Niles

I have the standard 32bit XP windows so I do not use the 64bit possibilities but even as a 32bit computer this thing is bloody fast. If you want a high end games computer AMD are better then Intel (cheaper and slightly faster in game performance then their intel equivalent CPU's). If you plan on buying a computer today getting a PCIe equipt motherboard is a must. Next generation videocards will likely not even be released in APG versions and at any rate, PCIe videocards are cheaper then AGP equipt ones (yes my bord still has AGP). I cannot say if getting a SLI (2 cards) videocard setup is a good choice but it certianly will be cheaper to get one mid range video card (or top end whatever you like) and getting another one once you have the money and you notice that your game performance is falling below what you would like it to be. Note two things though if you go down that path. You will need a motherboard that has TWO (2) PCIe slots and in order for this to work you need to have two identical video cards that support SLI.

I admit you have better collection (520GB HDD :drool: ). About that firewall, I thought to make the same thing, but didn't. Maybe now I will.

When I first heard of PCIe from my friend I laugh because I thought it was a joke, then I realised it wasn't, and then I laugh again. LOL

Nice, people, nice, nice, nice! So does anyone have pics?
I'm just having problems with my DOS machine (Signal error) and i don't know what the problem is. Trying to get my hands on an old 486dx and ibm at.
