Hello there peoples, i'm watching a movie with Gene Hackman in it and i decided that i must draw him in the greatest program in the world: Paint!

just so you know, i used to work as a graphic artist so i'm quite fluent in Photoshop and Illustrator, but i think paint is the most pure form of amusing drawings, plus the faster you draw, the better it looks!

At the first: Isn't it both? :D

At the second: buahaha. Kung-fu Mario Mastah :D

Altogether: RoXx0r. :ok:

pssst... look out Kon-Tiki, methinks you have a category competitor :D

Category competitor? His style only comes near mine with size of lines. For the rest, it's completely different.

completely different = better

right? :bleh:

Kon-Tiki

Yep, best to have your own style.

here's some non-paint ones

@Vash: OMG! *drools a lot* That's badazz.

@Kirby: You should draw him sucking in Zelda, because that would just be amusing :D But, still amusing as-is :ok:

i drew HEAPS of Kirbys and they all got lost during a reformat.. i had
- Metroid Kirby
- Jet (from Cowboy Bebop) Kirby
- Twisted Metal Kirby
- Death Kirby
- Spiderman Kirby
- plus more

that Link one was the only one that i salvaged (by accident no less)

here's a poster i made for a Daredevil fan movie that doesn't exist
note: I mispelt "Daredevil" on the poster on purpose

Not bad :)

Could use a little blending where you've pasted the resource pics, and the text seems to have suffered some distortion, but nice overall, and great commentary :D

It's good to see satire in the art forum :ok: ;)

irrelevantjet

blending?

i made that image a year and a half ago in 5 minutes.... :bleh:

when it comes to my comedy pics i don't care how shoddy they are, as long as the message is portrayed

example:

my theory is "why be perfect when you can send the message with mediocrity?"

I must say that your fine portrait of Mario made me laugh quite hard.

Fantastic work.

Why does Robin always have to be the gay one? LOL

irrelevantjet
31-03-2005, 05:22 PM
i'm a HUUUUUUUGE fan of Batman, and i know for a fact that Robin isn't gay

its just really funny to say he is :D plus i despise the smiles and colours of the Superfriends Cartoon

Speaking of which, love the Joker & Harley Quinn on your desktop. Don't think I've seen that style before

irrelevantjet

the Joker/Harley Quinn desktop is from the cover of "Batman/Harley Quinn", a single issue comic that came out a while ago

You can see it by clicking here (http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=fullsize&issue=07831964870%201)

Aren't you capable of doing a search for them?

By the way Mario drawing is great. And the Stan Lee quote on the poster.

some nice stuff (what is you inspiration for comedic images?)

my Kirby pics were lost when my hardrive crashed and the internet host for my pictures at the time went down forever.....

there are some littered around my old haunt at gamerankings.com but you'd have to sift through countless pages of useless gaming threads :w00t:

as for my inspiration.... ummm.... dunno... usually i draw what i see or what i feel about a subject.. my website is riddled with countless random images. some have meaning, like this one i made using RPG Maker 2000 and photoshop to poke fun at the fact that kids aren't supervised well by their parents and are prey for "lurkers"
http://www.irrelevantopinions.com/images/080300502.jpg

whilst others are completely pointless
http://www.irrelevantopinions.com/images/constantine05.jpg

the same goes for my articles in my website, some are about issues... others are about pretty much nothing :D

a character from the playstation game "Twisted Metal"

Iron_Scarecrow
05-04-2005, 05:44 AM
Ah no wonder I don't recognise it, never heard of the game.

But they all cool. :ok:

I really like your humour, all my friends have a childish like humour, they enjoy Little Britain and I despise that show.

irrelevantjet
05-04-2005, 05:51 AM
my humour is unique i can give you that... it thrives on the internet, where i can display visually what i feel through the use of pictures and animations.

here's a screenshot of another game i designed that promotes realism in gameplay, not graphics. (because recent games look more and more real, but still have very little ACTUAL realism in them)

i call it "Shopping with Regis"

LOL LOL

Fantastic, is this an actual game that is playable?

irrelevantjet
05-04-2005, 06:02 AM
i was going to make it a really short game but no-one would have played it, so it wasn't worth animating :apple:

i made a game in rpgmaker 2000 that involved the lead character Gary trying to get to the comic store for "Genericman" comics, but the town was taken over by anime fans and they flooded the comic store with cutesy crap :w00t:

but once again my computer needed formatting and i was unable to salvage "Garys quest"

you know what.... i think i might just have to make it again :D

Iron_Scarecrow
05-04-2005, 06:08 AM
LOL

If you do I'll be happy to play it.

Sean

I'll give it a spin aswell :D

cool, you've finally found your lost kirbies!

"death kirby" is my absolute favourite, but the other ones are very nice, as well! :ok:

Hey, IJ!

New stuff, whee! Umm... check my site, I'm having issues seeing anything at the moment, so I'll say something more useful later :D
