First of all, I have no idea whether this is abandonware or not.
Second of all, really really want to play it again.
Is there a possibilty of me ever seeing it again? Site-wise or not.

Sadly, Games Workshop claims title to all games based on the Warhammer / Warhammer 40K universe and does not want to have these games on any abandonware-site, but it is still sold at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006IB7M6/qid=1112129231/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl63/103-2099854-8595822?v=glance&s=videogames&n=507846).

What's with the insanely high prices for used copies?

Warhammer. Nuff said.
Game isn't that bad... but it's not really good either and crashes on XP.

Good taste there, dreadlord, but as it was said before: GW is VERY restrictive on all their copyrights, so it's not really likely to see any of those games ever as abandonware (in fact I'm surprised that "Space Hulk" is still up here, AFAIK "the underdogs" were "asked" to remove even that one from their site... :not_ok: )

That is correct, and I have a feeling they will come knocking on our door any time soon <_<

HOTU were asked to remove the download of the 2nd Space Hulk. I don't really think GW will care at all on the first one.
Besides, sometimes it's good to be small... we might slip through.
And there is a site with all materials for the 1st edition of Space Hulk PDF'ed and ready for download. And GW have not lifted their finger about that for last three years.
