Games You're Looking Forward To

What games are you waiting for to finally come out? What games have you heard are being developed right now that you think will be awesome? (Maybe we shoud leave rumours like Duke Nukem Forever and Fallout 3 aside...)

I'm waiting for GTA: San Andreas to come for PC, haven't played the console version so far but really liked Vice City and Liberty City.
I'm also looking forward to Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich and to Call of Duty 2.

Master of Magic 2.I watching situation there and it look like there are at least 3 companies that want ressurect this game.I have my finger crossed and hope that one of my most favorite games will have a sequel.(and that they dont SCREW it up like many other sequels of good games :ranting: )
Also TES3:Obvilon looks god,but I am counting that I will play it around year 2010 when I get new computer..... :whistle:

The newest Legend of Zelda looks really sweet, I can't wait to play that game, it'll hopefully be Nintendo's really big game, other one is geist, looking to see if it's a decent FPS at least it's a mature game, so we'll see how it goes from there.

Still waiting for Monkey Island 5, although that is probably an extremely long shot, considering the situation with Lucasarts.

if you use bit torrent for downloading large files: STOP THAT! its the slowest medium you can get for downloading large files.

I'm anxious about Oblivion aswell. I think the fate of all future RPGs will be decided on this game...

What's faster then? BT is actually pretty good, depening on what you dl and how you setup your client.

Double post! Freedom Force vs The Third Reich is the follow-up. BT is ok if lots of ppl are seeding the file; it's not so good for obscure and unpopular files. also the leeches are very irritating.

Swat 4, looks like it's really shaping up to be really awsome, if it's as good as close quarters, I'm sold.

Final Fantasy 12, this could make our break the series I feel, if it gets a strong response, it'll help the franchise, if not, it could be the end imo.

I stopped being interested in this game a few months ago, but a sequel might mean good stuff, a great game sacred, unfortunately it had a lot of bugs...

Nope, the original development team stopped working on the project hence the delay, it soon moved to Swinging Ape Studios, for them to work on.

It's been promised for a long time and I'll probably see it a month before or after Duke Nukem Forever, but American Mcgee's Oz is the game that I'd really like to see, apart from the great RPG Oblivion, which has also been talked about for years (though they're actually making Oblivion...)

I think we pretty much reached the point where EVERY concept has been done and tried at least once... the only possible varieties now come from graphics, engines etc...

Some genres have managed to have been created in the past few years, eg. Mario Party created a new genre essentially, we just need to keep hoping that there are innovative companies out there, that are willing to try something new, although I imagine with the rising costs of making games now a days especially on the console side, that this probably won't happen.

I dunno, Mario Party was not really THAT new, there were similiar games before (like Micro Machines). The mini-games might have been a little different, but the general concept was the same.

The last REALLY innovative thing to me was "eyetoy", and even THAT had it's predecessors...

I agree it really wasn't that new, but essentially it did create the board-game/mini game party genre, so that was new, to see that it continues to have successful sales, usually close to a million for each game is impressive,

Ugh Eyetoy, another odd idea from Sony, not that impressed with it, but yeah it didn have it's predecesors, guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes out, heck maybe nintendo's next gen system revolution, will be revolutionary with their games.

Totaly agree But i think the compagny will focus more on developping more sequels to Samurai warriors the same game but with japanese caracters with ninja and sorts.
