I have this crappy DX2/80 machine here and it lack but one thing to operate. Which happens to be the most important too - an OS.
A freedos release I have seems to be botched, anyway it did not run / install properly.
So, can anybody recommend me any decent equivalents? Free ones, preferably.

The Contiki Operating System
Hahahaaa, seems appropriate that Kon-Tiki would suggest something called Contiki.

To be honest, I'm looking for something with a DOS software compatibility. This PC is to be used only for old games, you know.

 You know what, Anubis, you just solved the issue. :ok:
Altough I didn't suspect that a Microsoft OS of any type could be freely downloadable.
But this means that the scrapheap will work! :w00t: Yay!
How about this one: http://www.freedos.org/

1. This thing already caused me a lot of grief when I was trying to use it.
2. Anubis already helped me. :Brain:
@Omuletzu: I'll try 7.1. Already downloaded it onto my HDD.
