View Full Version : Black Crypt [NON-PC]
Anyone know if Black Crypt is still supported or where one can get it without having to pay HUGE shipping costs?

Ah, this brings back some cool memories... ;) I don't think Black Crypt was ever ported to the PC though, but you can get the Amiga version, aswell as an emulator from this site:

Edit: IF indeed there was a PC version of this game, please let me know, I'd gladly write a review for Abandonia.
I read somewhere that there's a half finished port of Black Crypt for the PC, but that the developer was currently busy with (developing) Half Life 2 or something similar...

Thanks
Yeah, that's the one I meant. I wonder if the full version will ever be finished though. To bad they just don't release the code so that someone else could finish it

I guess its the decrease in demand of this game that the developers and not thinking of it. I suggest you to send them the request or search carefully on their website. Maybe you can get something.

Typical bard's tale affair for the Amiga (but I'm sure there must have been a PC version, i just remember it on my Amiga), this game is notable to me as probably the first game that scared the bejesus out of me when I was about 12. It was also notable (as mentioned in the above wiki) because it was possible to encounter the first end-of-level boss within a minute or two of starting the game. If you knew where to look.
The whole "4-player party forward, backwards, left or right" RPG-scene on the Amiga just passed me by, I wouldn't get into RPG's until the Elder Scrolls on PC but Black Crypt was the exception.
It's was also the first game ever developed by Raven Software.
just because it's on Amiga don't mean there is one for PC as well. Please search beforehand if the Thread already exist or not. thank you.
