Last week I found Windows 3.1 on floppies (OMG!) but Disk 5 is missing. does anyone know where I can get it?

I checked. They don't offer it anymore... At no site anywhere, for that matter!

I'd rather pay the 1.99 on ebay instead of paying the huge MSDN annual subscription fees to M$ if you don't mind :D

hmm, does that installer report the missing files? I could give you the ones needed if you can tell me.... (got MSDN also) or is that illigel?

Athough "procuring" a Disk 5 is too! :D

crap well sorry man, don't want to get in trouble... email microsoft and tell em your problem. They might help... I think.... maby not >.<. If they do, they will send you a cd with Windows 3.11 on it, just hope you have your cd-rom drivers installed.

I had the same problem, with disk 6. got it from some website over google.
i could give you the files. actually, that would of course be illegal, but, to be honest, i
wouldn't give a f*ing cent for microsoft :ranting:
Did you know that in that virus thingy that terrified the world about a year ago they found a message in the code "Bill Gates stop making money and fix your software"
I think they were right. Anyway, maybe M$ is going to sue me, so i'd better change my name :whistle: before they find out :ph34r:
