Some games have an extra (a walkthrough, a manual, maps,...), but most of them don't.

Almost all of the adventures we have are so famous, that it's enough to type: walkthrough (and the name of the game) in google and you'll get numerous hits.

But why a walkthrough? Games are much more fun if you learn how to solve the puzzles yourself :ok:

I don't think that's got anything to do... A walkthrough is copyrighted to its author, not the game's. The web is full of walkthroughs for games that are still being sold. If Ab provides a walkthrough for a game that's reviewed but without download, people who own the game will still be thankful if they can find the walkthrough here. Well this is subject to opinion and discussion but I'm pretty sure that there would be no copyright violation or illegality.

Esa protected = no game on site = no place where to put the Walkthrough.

ESA protected needn't equal not on site. There were games whose download was later withdrawn, of course there are games with the ESA no go button. For example... Maniac Mansion (well it's the deluxe version but the walkthrough is as valid as for the original one):

Esa incident, those game are there for a reason, now we can't put ESA games on site.

Yes but all this is irrelevant to the question at hand. The walkthrough is a work independent of the game in many concerns and certainly concerning copyright. Since this game has a review with its extras secion, the walkthrough could be added, regardless of whether there's also a download or not.

The topic title is referring to extras section, you can upload it, but it's useless.
You won't see it on site until years.

I'm sorry guys but some Lucas arts games has unlimited protection.
Maniac Mansion was released on 1987...it should be abandonware but it isn't.
