okay, i'll start (naturally, not being an expert, i don't know if any of these games qualify for abondonware, but whatever).

-Rise of the Triad

-Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure (first PC game I ever played)

happy posting! i'll check back occasionally. :ok:

feel free to randomly post the typical "i wish this game were abandonware" reply, too.

There is already a pinned thread for that. You can find it here (http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2582&st=90).

For the games you requested, most of them are not Abandonware and/or too big for the site.

You can forget about having Diablo and Baldur's Gate on this site in either a short or long futute. Better not wait for it because you'll wait a very long time.

They're not abandoned either. US$15 and $10 respectively:

Hi guys!
I've been looking all over the internet for this game, but i cant seem to find it anywere
I was not verry old when i played it so the discription may not be as good as it could have been, neither is english :7

well, here it is:

It's a platformgame, sorta like rayman and super mario bros. where you play this greenish alien thingy with these suctiondiscs as hands so you can stick on the walls.. Theres not really more i remember of this game.. Maybe something about a final boss, that i remember as this flying viking thingy.. muck! my memory is so bad :D

But if any of you guys remember the game, i would be so glad to know

Thanks for now :)
Ormen.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee (http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/oddworld-abes-oddysee) or Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/oddworld-abes-exoddus)? Not sure if he had that kind of hands though, I never played the game.

Cosmo was a fun platformer, a tad difficult at times. I never finished the 2nd or 3rd episode, though...

Hi all,

I've played this game recently enough and remember it as being downloadable abandonware. I've seen it downloadable on other websites too. I've also looked in the oldwarez list and found it listed as "sold" (what does that mean?). My question is: How come this game is free pretty much everywhere but not available on Abandonia? If you guys want it, I have it (original and virus-free).

Thanks.

On most sites it's the shareware version you can download, not the full version.

The full version is still sold@3DRealms.

Oh so it's the shareware version! Thanks dosraider. That makes sense... But can't the shareware version be made available then?

We have a general policy against demos and shareware versions.
Otherwise, we'd end up having to deal with an insane amount of flames for not making the full version available.
