Bloodrayne.
I like games with: kewl chicks, chicks in skimpy, figure-huggging suits, vampires, femme fatales, lots of gore and killing nazis. Guess what.
Bloodrayne happens to have them all. In bucketloads.

My favorite game has to be (I know you all are going to laugh)
Warlords III
This game has provided me with countless hours of enjoyment. I have made my own maps, actually beaten the campaign on hard mode (Tough!) and sucked the life out of every secret known to man. The game's cheap videos of Bane and his rubber mask make it all the better. I hope this becomes abandonware soon!
The making of your own sides lets you customize your armies and lets you make an unstoppable killing machine!!! Before scenarios, you can set personalities to different teams to make the game even more challenging. Playing on hotseat games with your brothers is great fun too!
Warlords 4 is a sad mishap. The combat system is cheapified and not as cool.

It is hard to talk about one favorite game, as I have way to many of them (and for different systems :)).

Diablo 2 could have been the best game ever if the save had been different. When you save, you quit. Diablo 1 was much better in that field. You could save anytime. If my computer crashes and I've been playing all day, where does that leave my character?
"Oh darn now I'm back in act 2"

Lizard
28-02-2005, 08:26 PM
 I dunno.I never have problems with saving in the game. Each time that Diablo crashed(and it was often) it acted as I quit and saved the game,So I have each time saved position...

there's a nice list on www.planetdiablo.com - a few of them have reviews and so on attached too. the mods tend to get a bit samey after a while i found, but not as much as vanilla D2 did! it's far better in multiplayer on a LAN - then you can work your way through the whole game between a few of you if you want, which is much more satisfying. it also makes some of the skills useful, like the paladin's party-enhancing auras or some of the necromancer's ability (and the sorceress' static field, of course).

Deus Ex

Half-life 1
Half-life 2
Chronicles of Riddick ( a game that is better then the movie, how's that!)
Vampire: Bloodlines (despite the bugs it's pretty awesome)
Morrowind

I love all the Total War series. Dreadlord you also mentioned Terra Nova, have you played Sentinel Worlds? Its one of my favorite games and Terra Nova is kind of a sequel to it.
Of all the games though, I think Fallout is towards the top of the list of favorites. And also the Operational Art of War: Century Edition. And the Jagged Alliance games. Oh and Planescape:Torment. And Defender of the Crown. And System Shock 2. And X-Com....
Okay, I really can't choose a favorite.

Strange, I could've sworn that I posted in here... I guess I only thought about it. :P
As for my favorite games I suppose I should break it down by category (top three but in no particular order):
FPS:
-Deus Ex
-System Shock 1 & 2
-Ultimate Doom
Adventure
-Laura Bow in: The Dagger of Amon Ra
-Beneath a Steel Sky
-Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
RPG:
-Fallout 1 & 2
-Legacy: Realm of Terror
-Wasteland (Though I suppose I could just shove this with Fallout :P)

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn
I tooootally love C&C. Know the game completely inside out, too... I'm currently working on making one C&C pack which contains C&C in 3 languages - English, French & German. Still missing the French briefings of the Covert Operations expansion pack though.. if anyone has the French C.O., it'd be very helpful.

Best on N64: Zelda: Orcarnia of Time, Mario 64, Perfect Dark

Yeah yeah, quite a bit of PC games there, but I couldn't help it... there's too many.
I'm really not good at these topics, I'm totally unable to pick one game over another most of the time, but I guess this will have to do

Wired, it took me couple seconds to understand that Gameboy SP is GBA. :)
Nice list!
All add couple Amiga titles I liked: Mr. Nutz, Lionheart, Superfrog, X-Com and Wings.
I like most of the point and click adventures and most of the RPGs.

I really enjoy Zelda, Ocarina of time. It was so immersive - i can remember go to sleep after playing it all day, then picking up where i left off in my dream.
The next best in my book is Baldur's Gate. I played that forever with my younger brother. We stay up all night for the 'mission'. When something went wrong in the game we would run upstairs, eat a qucik snack then run back down to get back in.

Fav games? Well, my first shot at Morrowind was pretty neat. A sorcerer (enchanter/alchemist)/warrior with tons of magic swords (custom made, very non-standard issues :brain: ), rings of constant levitation at a decent speed/invisibility, two staffs of fire/ice 150 ft. Every piece of armour enchanted for every possible occation. This was one mean mother. I mean, level 5 and hunting golden saints (? it's been a while) for leasure. I'm bragging, yes, but the one moment that was just sweet, was: I was challenging the head of the Mage's Guild in mortal combat. He pulled out every etheral joker he could muster. When I had enough of him, I walked up to him, looked him in the eyes, pulled out that trusty ol' axe, and WHAM-BAM-GOTCHA-SAM! That made the game as far as I'm concerned.
