I decided to open a new thread where I'll post an art painted on paper which I began to work on now. This one is the first I did on paper. As I drew first time for real on paper, don't expect something very impressive. Still, I hope you'll like it. :max:

Thank you both. I used first an usual pencil, then colored pencils to color the picture.

Well, the background, the shadow of the warrior and the eye on the finished picture were done later with Photoshop. Also some little details of the body... :tomato:
Aside from that, the Warrior himself was painted on paper until he reached the state of the second colored, not finished picture. :max:

Well, I got pretty weird nightmares for the last week, and as I don't have that much sleep now, I decided to paint down some of "things" that I saw there. I doubt you really want to see what I drew from out of the nightmares, but perhaps I'm wrong...
So I'll post one of this pictures, one that's not that scary and crazy, and you decide if you want to see more of them...

i liked fractals very much.

And the last picture as well....it's, woah, astounding.

Since the art contest theme is "meanest evil villain", you could as well take inspiration from those nightmares you're having and relate them in some way to a game...you'd have all skills needed to win the contest :max:

About talent - it's only half-talent. As long as I have the images before my eyes, they're easy to draw. Else it wouldn't come out as easy. ;)

how do you manage to have such a fast output? or are these ones older works
of yours? only one of these works would take me weeks to finish it...if i ever was
capable of doing art like this, anyway...

i do hope that these creatures are not taken from your nightmares, otherwise i'd
strongly advise you to consult a psycholigist ;)

Why? Because painting doesn't provide you enough with the finances you need to live daily. And there are millions of others that draw at least as good as I do (sorry, no pretending, just stating a fact :tomato:)

As for the fast output, I drew the rat quite some time earlier, around 4-5 years ago. I had dreams like that then, too, just not as strong and as long as now. Now I reworked the rat a little, but you can say it's an old image from me. And the pencil sketches aren't that hard to draw right now, I have anything right before my eyes. The nightmares are very strange, as if I'm there in real every night, so the details stay in my head. My hand and the pencil almost draws himself, while I "provide" the information, don't ask me about more details, I'm not thinking on how I draw. :crazy:

Yes, these pictures are all from the nightmares, but I doubt it would bring anything to go to a psychologist. It's not his area. I'm myself a born psychologist, I just didn't study it and all. And I know where the border is, I'll stay away from the mental darkness.

I can't believe it myself, the rat is the only serious picture I drew in my life before at all. And I still state that my skills are modest, in other times I wouldn't be able to draw it all, that's why I use every spare moment to capture the visions. ;)
