I just want to say thank you massively to whoever has put Magic and Mayhem up on the site. I've always been a massive fan of turn based strategy games, and in particular anything that's been made by Julian Gollop, who for me was always pretty much the master of this field.

I understand that Magic and Mayhem is more in real time than the rest (haven't tried it yet, but I'm about to :-) ) but I thought I'd share details of the other stuff that he's made in case anyone else is a fan.

Rebelstar2 http://torinak.com/qaop#!rebelstar2
Chaos Battle of Wizards http://torinak.com/qaop#!chaos
Laser Squad is here on Abandonia, but you can also play it online from a few places such as here http://laser.zame-dev.org/level-1
And then there's the new Chaos Reborn http://www.forum.chaos-reborn.com/

Well, you obviously forgot non-PC entries (that are Lords of Chaos and Rebelstar: Tactical Command) and also Morkin 2 and Laser Squad: Nemesis. Oh, and a small neglectable omission that is X-Com series. ;P

Not to be confused with Xcom, of course. Not that it even come close to the original but it is still the best squad based turn by turn strategy game I played in the recent few years.

Which tell a lot about the current gaming industry. But it's getting better at least.
