Tom & Jerry - Cat-astroph - CGA problem

I need a little help

i downloaded this game from your site

I made this game run on dosbox without problems

here is the thing, I used to play this game back in the day, on CGA screen, so i really wanted to make dosbox make this game run on CGA mode

so i define in the conf file

machine=cga


when i did it, i got this black screen, with the text mode cursor blinking, looks like the game cant make itselt run on cga

thing is i played it on cga mode, and also on the box of the game it says it can be run on cga

in one of the versions i downloaded, i found a file read.me, inside i found this:

i tried to run the game like this:


tj c
tj -c



I still got the same problem...

i tried to do it also when

machine=cga
machine=scga_s3


the game just doesnt load on cga...

any ideas? can some here please help me?

by the way i tried to register to this forum, but i always get a register fail message
i tried to use username with one word on it, no numbers no spaces, get the error message all the time...
