I'm no techie, but isn't D(irect)Draw.dll linked with DirectX.I therefore advise you to reinstall DirectX

that's when the headaches start, one of the programs I usually have the most problems running is DirectX. One of the problems from DirectX is that you can't downgrade, I recently installed Dx9 but as it wasn't fully compatibly with my graphic driver, tried to go back to Dx8. No way josé...

Well it's mostly because my graphic card has a crappy driver probably with no support from the company anymore, but still DirectX, argh... :)

You have to manually deinstall the newer dx before you can install an older version. There are tools on the web that do that but I forgot the name, google it up. ;)

Actually... you can manually uninstall DX ... or you can download a program that do it for you..... try googling "uninstal direct x"

... my old 95 is from 1996.... (who cares, my first pc (95 too) had 120 mb and i had never problems with it)

BTW
My ME have a C:\ drive from 1.96 GB, and a F:\ drive from 38.60 GB.
(it was better if i had a C:\ drive from 38.60 GB)
