These spambots are getting out of hand. Something needs to be done.

I know, and we are. We've been trying different solutions for the last few weeks. Sadly nothing has got a handle on it yet - but we are working on it.

Thank you for letting us know you've noticed it, and please keep helping us patch things up in the meantime by reporting the spam posts :)

Not enough. I still don't see my proposals implemented in the registration page, looks like there's only reCAPTCHA defending us from spammers.

No way I'm going to manually remove spam (which reaches 20 posts daily) on voluntary basis.

Is it possible to stop new accounts from putting links in their posts? Maybe they would need 10 posts or something before they could post links. That might disarm the spam at least.

Not only that, but also considering a 1-space between letters of a possible link might be useful, something like "w w w" or "d o m a i n . net". Whoever is using those bots, will find a loophole if there's one.

But they'll still be flooding the forum.

What's so hard about adding those tricks I mentioned earlier to the registration form?

Because WE are not the ones who can do it.

They seem to like Forgotten Games Bureau forum more than any other.

Abovo don't read the forum, you can use the Navigation > Contact us form:
http://www.abandonia.com/en/contact

Honestly I don't think they read that one either.
