Hey guys, I was wonderin' if Dungeon Hack (the 1st person Dungeon Master Varient, not the ASCII one) is abandonware? If so It'd be great to have it on the site I think. ^^ But mainly I post this to ask if anyone knows any place I can download it? :D IF it's abandonware. If it's not I don't want anything illegal.

Underdogs has it at the moment, and unless you count the Anthologies, then yeah, it's abandonware.

*chuckle* True, just because I don't want it, dosent mean it won't find it's way into my collection by itself. I'm such a Computer-Kender.

Hi!
I've scoured the net for a pc version of Dungeon Hack but can't find it. This game takes me back to ye old days of scouring dungeons for phat lewt, cutting a path through all devilish beasts that stood in your way! (Until high tailing it back for healing)
That name again? Dungeon Hack.
Thanks!

I've encoutered this game several times in my life. The only time it really worked was when I downloaded it from a BBS several years ago. It was the first time I played it. Of course, at that point it was highly illegal and the game wasn't too old... But that's was BBS was about back then, and I was young. No doubt this triggered my Gamer side when I was young too, getting all those good games freely before a net access even existed where I lived...
All the other times, the game was suffering from a copy protection and I never been able to circurvent it. I don't think I have access to a copy, working or not, of that game.
The OldWarez list of this site list Dungeon Hack as Abandonware. You can download it freely under the assumption that it's Abandonware, and if you find a working copy please consider contributing to the site. :)

I have a copy of Dungeon Hack on my computer, I'll go dig it out after midterms are done I guess.
EDIT: I looked on the oldwarez list, it's still listed as sold. However, it was up for approval in the "candidates for unprotection" list, so I'm not sure as to its current status.

That'd be well good to get Dungeon Hack here. :D
I haven't played that for ages!

Oldwarez is outdated. It has over 4000 Games in there which has to be checked by us manually and no its not checked automatically if a Game is protected, sold, or abandonware...
reserved for Eagle of Fire. He will write a Review for this one.

I got Mac and Linux versions of this game.
idk if anyone will want them, but I just wanted to brag about how many versions I have.
It makes me feel more of a man, okay?

Dungeon Hack Linux version? :omg:
I did not know Dungeon Hack has a Linux version... Mobygames entry (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dungeon-hack) only lists DOS version. Are you sure you are not talking about this (http://dungeonhack.sourceforge.net/Main_Page) instead?
Regardless, if you really have the Linux version, you bet I want it! :)
