Independence War

Did anyone play this game? It's old (I think it came out in '99 or even before), but it's probably my all-time favorite, including all console games I've played. It was a space simulator with amazing physics, a top-notch story and beauitful graphics (for its time). I know of no one that knew about it before I told them, and I never heard much about it anywhere else. The controls were admittedly complex, but fluid once you got used to them.

If you can find it (which is unlikely), you should buy it. It's incredible.

I could never quite get into the first one. I'd just finished I-War 2, and I-War was included on a magazine cover CD down here. Was too much of a backwards step to grab me. :)

I played the original when it first came out. That was a fun game indeed.
