I have this question to you, but please, just one song.

The best to you, the best of the world.

If by music you mean a song then I guess it could be:

Panta Rei - by Đorđe Balašević

But if you mean a type off music I'd have to say:

New Age

Sixpence None the Richer. If I would need to pick one of their albums I would say Devine Discontent.

My sister is listening to that all the time!!! it's making me mad :hairpull: I know all the songs by heart(not willingly).

I like rock, as long as it's not too pathetic and too poppy...

Kiss Me is their best known song. They never broke into the big time as they are a christian rock/pop band. Now I'm not religous at all but their songs are deep and engaging, this I like.

The Picard, you can say to me, other bands that have a song like Sixpence None The Richer. Iīm brazilian, and is some difficult find song like these. :ok:

Mhh, I can't say I know other bands with a similar sound to Sixpence, they are quite unique. The thing is they combine Leigh Nash's wonderfull voice with raw guitar work and poetic lyrics. If I should name one band that comes close to it I would say "The Cardigans" altough the topics the bands cover respectively differs greatly.

Sorry but you will need to earn a title for yourself. Just stick around and help people as you can. By the way you will very soon lose the nerd title.

As for U2, I can't say what band would compare. They have been around so long that they have a very distinct sound. Maybe someone else would know.

I have always found Blink182 to have a resemblance to "the presidents of the USA". A small time band with only two records and only one of them succesfull. They have the same waky style and disregard for the rules. Worth a look.

Rednex - wish you were here

Pharaoh

Rednex, what style is this song. Soft, heavy, punk??

Strobe

electronic music: cosmic baby - energy 52 (nalin & kane rmx)

non-electronic: anathema - kingdom

although both are of totally different style, they both have strong attributes
of anthems, sounding very spherical and "huge", in a way....

great pieces of music which again and again make me shiver when i listen
to them....

This song from them is "soft" - it is a balad.
But they have more cawboy stuff too :bleh:
When it comes down to music, I usually have to go by the mood I am in. And that changes a lot
Maybe you should try the group Maroon 5 - easy rock/pop, I guess. Tell me what kind of music you listen to, and maybe we can suply you with some names.
I like some of Madona songs too - balads or Metallica or Guns and Roses or Bon Jovi... it depends...

Pharaoh if you want to listen to punk check out bands such as Pennywise, NoFX, Rise Against, Lagwagon, Strung Out, Millencolin, No Use For A Name, Offspring, My Chemical Romance, Bad Religion, Thrice. There is a list of some very good punk bands and you should like some of them.

My favoutrite song of all time would have to be Blood-Red, White and Blue by Rise Against.
