Heart of Darkness

There was a game I used to play, when I was 8-10 years old, but I don't remember the title:

-It was around 1994-1999
-On a PI 166mHz or PII 400mHz (I don't remember)
-I've installed it from a CD
-It was on windows 95
-maybe SVGA
-with CD Audio
-some ingame videos
-adventure game
-2D (sideview) game

What the game was about:
-you were a 10 years old boy
-you've been robbed by some dark force, if I remember well, from a tree-house in the garden (it was in the intro-movie)
-you had to fight against shadows thru the game
-in caves, on cliffs
-in the end, you had to kill the shadow king or something like that.

Does anyone remember something, like this? :)

It seems to be resembling Legend of Kyrandia (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/88/Legend+of+Kyrandia+1%2C+The.html), mostly because of the tree-house in the intro, would you check it please?
