Hi, all,

After my fail with CIV 5, i started new game
Warlock:Master of the Arcane.

I am great mage Empress and have 11 towns now.
My big problem is the opponent Great Fire Elemental with about 49 HP till my best unit is Flying Galleus with 20 HP only.
Maybe if i meet this opp with 6 Flying Galleus i will win. Have to try.

All good gamers are kindly invited to chat and discuss this game.

There is "creature spam" here. Try to attack him with many cheap units. Also cheap summonings and spells can be the key to victory - they will die, of course, but they will significantly harm elemental. And harmed units are much less efficient.

OK.
I attacked this Elemental with many cheap units (3 skeleton archers, 2 warriors and four Flying galleous) and at last i won. But this is Victoria pirrica.
But more and more Elementals appeared.

I have 24 towns but i feel that game will beat me if the situation is not changed rapidly.
Suddenly my Gold harvest reduced significantly. From 4345 to 1668!

..and very bad news again!!! Rats!
After increasing of my town number the PC becomes real turtle...

Today i will speak with my PC master for MB and RAM change...

What about your super-units and spells? Any advanced unit, like hero or champion, lich or golem, can handle this poor elementals with ease. Especially after enough buffs putted on them. :)

Ah, never heard of these champs!

I am with skeletons and my best unit (will try after a while) is some blue ghosts.

Today i visited my PC master and we managed all about modern PC - better video card - mine is Nvidia Geforce 210 - 750 MB, fast CPU, min. 4 GB RAM with option to 8 GB RAM.
I told him
- amigo, i will run The withcher 2 on ready PC.
If the game is OK i will accept the PC; if not - return..

Yes, this is a small step ahead, but i will not stop till The witcher 2 runs without problem.
Very soon i will buy new large RAM volume. To reach 4 GB.
The de fragmentation and RAM are the best ways to speed up my PC.

I think, you do something wrong with processor. My Core2Duo E7200 looks better by perfomance, and I bought it cheap three years ago. I think, you can hit perfomance wall quite fast. Try to reconsider, please? Quick search shows that even AMD Phenom II X4 that compared in price with this X2, well, seems 3 times better in tests.

Also, your new video seems... somewhat outdated for me. Can you get any GTX card? Anyone seems much better than GT. And if you cannot - at least get 4xx instead 2xx - it must be very cheap now, but they are still better than that.

No, and no. First one wasn't impossible at all before patch 1.3 (now opponents can utilize other worlds - but it not seeded here. It would be murder). Second... well, it's would be non-usable, if it was here. "Secondary" worlds are all tiny, so closing it effectively means choking to death all units trapped there.

Being great mage Espress i eliminated 3 great mages. The remaining mage is neutral.
No moving beings except few water creatures.
No problem to kill all of them.
But no victory still?
I entered the other world and was surprised to see 6-7 Fire elementals around.
What is my fail?

Can you remember your winning conditions? :) If you checked "allied win", you need to get everyone (last mage in that case) to your allies. If you not, but checked "elimination" win, then you must eliminate everyone, neutral included. :) If you excluded both... well, then there are a lot to check. :) I hope, it can be checked inside game, but I never did it.

Other planes are packed with very-high level monsters and all are tiny. So it's way to get a lot of experience and loot in short time, but hard to do. :)

I was near to wake up after non stop attack and millions of elementals when вдруг (suddenly) the pressure on me decreased.. Ha ha
I mobilized more and more soldats and attacked at all fronts..
It was like Stalingrad battle.
I was general Zhukov and enemies were Fon Paulus..
The best my unit was Paladins of dead. I was presented with this unit after some mission.

Yes, other world is very dangerous. As i stated before about 6-7 elementals are around me. But...

I am peaceful and humble destroyer of the worlds. So I never tried this. All my opponents foolishly declaring wars on myself. Their fault.

But chances, it is here. How otherwise they could start the wars?! :)

I was very surprised to know the authors of this new nice game are
Russians. Zdorovo! (Nice!)
I strongly recommend this game of every gamer who is tired as yoga after 25 RPG.
Little advices:
Mates, the first thing in this game is Security. Yes, senor Japo?
So ASAP built Magic towers around the cities.
Only Skeleton Warriors are immune to this weapon.

The graphics are nice, the movement is easy. Diff. races.
I like this game and played twice.

Yes, i like this game very much and it is for me like sweet dessert.
So, i will rest a little, then again will start it, following Your directions and step by step increasing the opps, difficulty and like..
Yes, i will do.

Every turn i entered new and new brave units and opps very soon killed all of them.
In the future when i am very experienced and reach i will buy all very strong units and again will try to win.

One more word: It was very funny to see how one enemy unit attacked the second enemy mage capital town.
Ha ha
brave was aside and smilling waiting for moment to enter this dispute and win.

Oh, it's not deadly at all. :D You need right-buffed/powerful units, and it's... struggling, yes. But not deadly! :D

Because of some problem with SS2, namely, I started the game but after a few seconds it frozes, i again started my lovely Warlock.
This game is real gem as MoM but new.

Yes, i started some improved version but pls where to see what is? Now the game started with a winter storm.
OK, i start with 3 enemy mages, large territory, normal diff.
The difference is big.
I eliminated the first mage but the battle was terrible. His shamans make me cry, killing my nice Galeus. If in the final moment AI did not directed its armies to another my town but attacked my troops around capital the mission was imposible.
Moreover the second hostile mage was covered as the first which fact disoriented me.
I sleep 3 hours only because of game..
ha ha ha

Well, I think, title screen always the same. Look on window title... if you are in window, sorry. :D Well, search for version number somewhere on main screen. It must be 1.3.

Simple check is list of your cities. It was introduced only in 1.3. (And heroes - that you definitely have - was introduced in 1.2).
The difference is big.

Yes, i use spells, custom perks but dunno how to boost my armies.
Yesterday i used for first time Black minotaurs.

Details:
I eliminated a mage, sadly do not remember now the name.
Then mage Sol de Torvega eliminated Elpitister.
Then i battle with some new mage.
Also Nicolas Frost is presented.
It is very funny to see how they battling each other.

Game is excellent.

Now is time for more info:

I am mage Empress.
The others are Sol de Torvega, Elpitister and Nicolas Frost.
I eliminated the forth mage.
Sol is battling against Elpitister and soon eliminated this one.
So left Sol, Nicolas and me.

I have 40 towns, Sol - 25 and Nicolas -6 towns

My armies:
Dragon lich, Paladins of dead,Adepts of Lunord,Elder vampires, Beast masters,Galleon, Caravel, Stubborn knights2, Zombies2,Minotaurs2, Krolm housecards2, Black minotaurs3, Shamans4, Flying Galeus5.

Any army have 3 sources of boosting:

1. Level-ups. Obviously. You cannot miss it. :D

2. Enchantments. From you and your wizards. Eats mp per turn, so be careful with that!

3. Perks. From structures. Available for specified classes, costs money, does not requires upkeep.

And your custom heroes (up to 4) can have extra level above that: equipment! Some of them are crazy powerful, and with DLC you can make some for yourself, just as in MoM. (You have heroes, right? I don't see them in your armies list...)

You are missing a metric ton of changes. Better enemy AI, new terrain features, different town management... everything.

And heroes! They are... heroes. :) Special ultra-cool units with boosted parameters, special abilities and own inventory. Did you seen MoM? Same thing, aha. :D

Print Screen only put picture in the screen buffer. Did you tried to _insert_ this picture in any graphic editor? (I.e. MS Paint at least :)

From MoM I know the heroes.One found them randomly at certain game stage. They are something like superwarriors..
But i have no luck to find some hero during my 3 games with WmotA. Maybe because i play an old version.

Definitely i know what to do after pressing the button PrintScreen. Enter MSPaint and press Insert. I did it all but received black screen. I will try again.
Moreover i think there is some problem with picture attachment to my posts here.

No, i do not remember this wand name. It was long ago.

You might want to download and use this one (http://www.irfanview.com/) instead of MS Paint. Freeware and very useful. Insert the picture there (under Edit menu press Paste). Then just save it in JPG/JPEG format and set the save quality to something like 80, maybe even lower. It should be a much smaller file then ;)

I passed the last version of the game 6-7 times with 4 Lords (Heroes).
I like this game.
It returns me to nice MoM.

All right.
Soon i will stop this game and back to SS2.
I feel upset after so lost days to start and play SS2.
