Wow...now that's an old old old old game. Apple II isn't it? I found a site Here (http://www.tld-crew.de/t.html) That has it for download, but under the readme it says you need to play it on the original c64 whatever the heck that means. Sorry, I'm not really a computer person, I'm more of a music guy.

I have the PC version lying around here somewhere (came as part of a collection), but it's CGA and I never got around to playing it.

It was the first game for Apple IIGS (1986) but in 1987 it was converted to DOS.

Hello all. I was trying so badly to figure out which forum to post this in, so please move it if I got it wrong...

This is going to sound real vague, but here we go!

When I were a wee lass, there was this DOS game I used to play. You were some dude in your house and you get transported (with your dog) somewhere. Theres this snake like thing (I SWEAR his name was Snape...) who owns a shop and theres stuff you gotta do. One bit was something to do with hair dye and meeting a rockband, It was like a txt based game, you could ask questions, screens had pictures and you told the computer what to do.

I've been through every game here seeing if something would job my memory because I cant remember for the life of me what it was called.

Help wpuld be much appreciated, TA!

That's easy for me. Tass Times in Tonetown (http://www.mobygames.com/game/pc-booter/tass-times-in-tonetown) (aka Ennio: The Legend Begins)! One of my favourite games. :D Have requested it two and a half years ago right after joining Abandonia. Then I acquired a copy by myself and wanted to submit it, but those were the (other) hard days of Abandonia, and it came to nothing. But I got FTP Access just yesterday, and will upload it. For a favourite I would do the review by myself, of course, but I failed at writing reviews all times. Btw: The Apple IIGS version is a treasure.

The dog is Ennio the Legend/Wonderdog, the "snake" is called Franklin J. Snarl, you dye your hair at Chaz's Boutique, and the band name is (The) Daglets. :D

Maybe at a NAMBLA restaurant? We could get discount due to our connections (Abi79). :w00t:
