Pc Game For Charity

Me and my friend are planning to do a PC game for charity. I've decided to do it in C++ because Java can be slow and unless someone has a better idea it'll have to do..
it's sort of like jagged alliance meets FPS idea, you hire guys to help you do commando-like missions. we want to try and make it 3D, but I think my friend will settle for side scrolling (see operation wolf, his site)
So, anyone willing to help is welcome.

Can't help you out there. No C++ skills what so ever... Java on the other hand :)
Good luck with the game anyway and if you need some modelling done (when you decide to go 3D) let met know!

only skill in c++ I got is to use cout and cin, and variables.

A hint from me. I suggest you first learn it before programing in it :ok: Read some books make the exercice and then try to program. And why dont you use a geme maker or something like this?

hmm, maybe I should ask my friend if he wants a strategy game engine, as I have found 2... Im sure he likes C&C :P
