Ban List

Unless there is already one(in which case sorry) could there possibly be a ban list put up on the forum so people know who's banned. I'm not sure if there's temporary and permanant bans but it could also say how many days left banned there are. What do you think?

That would be something like exposing those people to public embarassment! Ban is punishment already good enough for them! :D No point of doing that to poor people!

i must say beibg banned for 5 days was horrifying and was like some1 ripping me away from some kind of drug addiction.making a ban list would just be worse

I knew it from several people

But take Punch as example...i didnt know he was banned/blocked for 5 days...

I kept PM sending to him but he never gived any response...so when i knew he was blocked i just could stop with it :angel:

So i think it's a good idea...

Also if someone breaks enough rules to cause them being banned, and I'm sure the Admins would give that person a warning before banning, and then if they continue after the warnings, then they only deserve to be humiliated.

dunno about this idea - perhaps this thread should be locked off to stop it getting out of hand - i can just sense it becoming a flame thread potential - we dont want that.

It would be a good idea only if the reason that the people where banned are also in this list. This would serve as extra education about what not to do.
On the other hand, it is a pretty hefty intrusion on privacy. The people where banned by the admins and that is their punishment for whatever 'crime' they committed. A ban-list would act as a second one...
So in the end, I'd vote against it.

Actually these forums are, as far as I can tell, the most civil ones I've ever posted in. I haven't witnessed any flame wars or name calling in any of the threads at all so far. :)

It is enough punishment for people being banned, no need to let others know of that, too. Imagine how they will feel when they show up again? Knowing that all knew of their banning, it would be even more shame for them that they didn't deserve.

Temporary ban. Some get banned for 5 days or so. Then they may return.

Not necessarily. I have 0% too, yet I did some stuff before that's not exactly good. The point I was trying to make is that it shouldn't be embarrasing in anyway for everyone to know that you have been banned.
