Corsairs: Terror on the high seas is +10 years old (1999) and isn't (to my knowledge) sold in the shops anymore, I suppose that classifies it as good old abandonware.
I would really love to see it here!

Doh, sorry i should have split this up into two threads, should i just go ahead and make two new threads? In the future, yes you should. However, I've taken the liberty of doing so for you this time. :)
...also, if by "Corsairs", you mean this game (http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/corsairs-conquest-at-sea), it has already been requested (http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=7755&highlight=Corsairs). Just as a friendly reminder, before you request stuff, please use the "Search Forums" section at the top of the website.

So, if it's already been approved of, then why cant i find it in the list of games?
Does it still need a review? the actual game? perhaps both?

Weird stuff like this happens all the time on the request forums. Suffice it to say: check to see what is the actual title of the game thread. If a thread is in the Request Games forum, and if said thread has stuff in brackets [LIKE THIS], it means it isn't approved.
Hope this clears things up!

Sorry about that, I'm still very new to this forum and still learning the ropes.
In that thread you yourself say in the third list post
Corsairs - Conquest at Sea - [APPROVED]
but the thread name overrules that..?

check the second-last post from TA, where he say that the Gold-Version is still sold. and thus overriding what Expack2 said.
