Fun facts:

In ~6 years since the idea was first suggested, Abandoned Times managed to release only 2 issues, including this one.
The cover of Issue 2 was inspired from old 80s game box covers, specifically Infocom ones.
We missed our deadline for issue 2. The promo image said "Coming Out Before Duke Nukem Forever (we hope!)". DNF was released on 14th of June 2011. Even Duke was faster than us! :p

14 AB members contributed articles to Issue 2.
All the game advertisements from Issue 2 are fake. The only sincere ads are the ones for Matt Barton's books and Abandoned Times.

The promo image said "Coming Out Before Duke Nukem Forever (we hope!)".Mind you, we did release the FIRST issue before DNF came out and when the second issue promo was conceived, DNF was still going pretty much nowhere.

Yes but after the first issue was published, the magazine webpage still said that the second issue in the making was coming out before DN4 (we hope!). And even after DN4 was actually released that statement wasn't changed until now. ;)

Aren't they the funniest? My favourite in this regard is Psycho, followed by Fifth's Tekkaman Blade review. As for Noctropolis, Turok and Satan, they actually sounded like something I'd enjoy. :)

Very nice issue, I read Fifth's column about The White Chamber and it looked quite interesting so I've downloaded and finished it last night :D

Great work!

Thank you for publishing my article + interview. The layouts for both are quite impressive. I'm thankful to have been given the opportunity to share the histories of my two favorite fighting games with your most receptive audience.
