Why are people changing there names??
i dont get it why
Plz can the admins explain why they are doing things like this??? :ok:
Tom Henrik

Because they are not happy with their names. Some want to have their real name instead of a nick, and Yamcha didn't like his 565656 ending. Basically they just want to clean their nick up :ok:

Quite confused, hm? Well, I'm happy with my nick.
Yamcha

I signed up here with the 565656 just because I was too lazy and gave that nick everywhere. But now the numbers dont fit so I asked tom to remove them :kosta:

I wouldn't miss the 31e but I'm used to it and I've been using it for years.
There's one forum where I took the e off to see if I liked it better and now I can never remember my username. I've tried other usernames and they just don't work for me. I think I'll stick with what I've got! :D

Don't think I'd ever change my name, since, well, it's the same one I've used for 7 years now.
Kon-Tiki
31-01-2005, 04:24 PM
Only on Msn, I change my name now and then. Kon-Tiki changes to Rafbo, Rafiavelli, Rafses II, Mumm-Raf The Ever-Living, Rafioli, Rafpunsel or any other I can think of, but not on forums, as I need to be able to remember what to log in with there (which's not on Msn... just an old email address that doesn't exist anymore for that).
Been to forums where it's a fad that the admins change your nickname to this or that dumb fanboy thing without you knowing it. It tends to keep me from going to that forum for a while, as I don't bother trying to find who the hell I am, let alone who the hell the others are. Can't log in and don't know who I'm talking to anymore during such fads. 's Why I hate conciderable namechanges on forums. I can understand removing the 565656 from Yamcha's name, though. Still know who he is, he'll have an easier time logging in and it looks better, all by all.

I don't think I will change my nme anytime soon. I'm happy with it. I wonder if anyone has figured what it means. It's not that hard I guess.
I can see why people would want to change names. Sometimes things change, and you don't like the name you had in the past.

Didn't feel the need for myself to change my nick so far, also. :max:
Hmm, should I post that I also would never have any need to change my name...
No -
And well,
The denial of the need of mine of such posting was the reason of this supposed post...

Yup its Joshua written backwards with the 'J' upside down. Fairly nifty I think, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it properly. I just wanted a name for me that was unique and no one else had.
The Fifth Horseman
01-02-2005, 03:40 PM
Well, I always use nickname the_fifth_horseman, unless on a particular board I have to select a shorter one, then it's fifth_horseman, and if something even shorter is needed then tfh goes. However, is sometimes happens that I cannot use my nickname in a normal version (like when registering on bloodrayne.co.uk - my e-mail account failed to receive half dozen registration e-mails... had to use other account and I ran out of my usual usernames), then the underslashes might get replaced with - marks or removed altogether.
punch999

Unknown Hero

I suppose you know about the whole cartoon, I have it but it's too big in size and dimensions. But then I came across this one so I'm usuing it.
And now I will leave you with this cool thing I stole off someones avatar from another forum.

Havell

I used that one in this forum, but then Picard removed it for being innappropriate. I did use the longer version of Iron_Scarecrow's avatar for a while but it was too big so lots of people couldn't see it properly. I'm back to the Grim Fandango one as that's my avatar I use when I'm between avatars.
