Does anyone in forum play mmorpgs (massive multiplayer online role playing games)? Or other mmos, don't have to be rpg, strategies for example?
I'm playing War of conquest, an interesting game, but gets a little boring after a while...

Well, I used to play EmpireQuest, but now I'm waiting for the sequel.
I also used to play Ultima Online until I realised how many of the players were anti-social morons.
I also used to play the members version of Runescape until September 17th. I still occasionally play the free version.

I'm currently playing Biosfear. It's sort of like Diablo 2 but in 3d and in mmo form but there are some quite annoying problems in it but nothing too much to spoil the fun of it.

I started to play Ragnarok Online short time ago. Don't know if I like it yet, I'm not that much into manga / anime graphics...

I played ET back when first came out but alas I was on an extremely slow modem and never really got into it, perhaps I should give it a go again now...
To google I go!

I played Dragon Court for a few months. Glad I got over that phase. I also played Ragnarok Online for a while, since I was a GM on my friend's Vidar server, but there just weren't enough people on that server to keep it interesting. Only got an asl once every ten minutes ;D.

Does any one play those Little/free mmo's which don't have huge download-installations??

Your best bet is to check The MUD Connector, at http://www.mudconnect.com/: very little installation, no cost. The games are all text-based lack the consistency of coding you'll find in bigtime, for-pay sites, but they're free and very varied. You can find a broad range of themes and attitudes, and TMC helps find the ones that most fit your style.

The best I'm playing at the moment does not require a download and it quite addictive. It's called Londinivm and it's RPG. Text based.

I'm still debating whether to get World of Warcraft, as MMOs take so much time, and if you don't play it feels like you're getting ripped off by the subscription fee. :/

I played the beta of World of Warcraft, it's definitely worth your money. Its insanely addictive and fun, although I do see your point about not playing them being a rip off but I doubt you'll be bored of WoW quickly.

I have been in the US open beta, and now the EU final neta myself, so I know how addicting it can get. ;) The problem is, you either spend too much time playing it, or if you don't, you feel like you're wasting your money, so it's kinda a lose - lose situation. ;)

I play Maplestory (yeye beta is there!) and Runescape

Both fine games. Maplestory is a little boring at the beginning, but gets better when you're leveled higher. Runescape is just fun.

I played FWO (Fung Wan Online), RYL, KO, Cronous, Guild Wars, and recently D.O., but the developers seemed to have ignored the project and left it to develop by itsellf. Anyways, my team (PT-PolishTeam) left the game and some of the members are now checking out the A3 Project. Others are waiting for another good beta. I hope I'll meet some of You in a mmorpg. :)

Played Gemstone III for many years a long time ago, but found it far too time consuming. It's easy to get sucked into this kind of game. And since it was text-based, the graphics were great! -And I don't mean that sarcastically, either. As long as the writing was good, you could imagine almost anything.

I've played Guild Wars in the open weekends and from what I've seen it should be pretty good. There's the added plus of no monthly costs so you only pay what you pay for it then the add ons which they'll release every 6months or year I think if you want them.

Though Guild Wars has even more straightforward gameplay than WoW does, it's kinda like Diablo in 3D. ;) I wonder if they will ever make an mmoRPG that really deserves the name.

I wish blizzard would make a sequel to Diablo II. I think it's one of the best and most fun games ever.

Wish I'd got on the Europe Open Beta as well as the US one but I was out on the evening the accounts were released

ahh yes mmos. I went through many of em....

Realms of Kaos (www.rokworld.com/www.realmsofkaos.com )

Awsome free mud rpg. great community and very fun. You downlaod a 20mb client and make a char. Connect to the server and thats it. The game is texted base but has a nice GUI that shows items, stats, a map, people with you and others. Plus a picture of the area you are in. The game iteslef can be played with the gui only!

Dragon Raja (dragonraja.com.my)

One of the best MMOs I played. Diablo type graphics. It has many featuers and load of things to do. Basiclly 3 countries are at war and you participate in them, inluding all out war and castle sieging! This game went p2p(pay2play) a while back...

MU Online (muonline.com)

This is fun for about a month. This games is free. Cool 3d mmo that looks like a complete rip off of diablo II. The only reason why it was fun for me was because I had a speed hack LOL.

Priston Tale (pristontale.com)

Colorfull fun mmorpg which is fun to play for a while. Held better then mu did LOL. Graphics are in full 3d... sadly it went p2p a while back.

Ragnarok Online (iro.ragnarokonline.com)

Played this game for a month and I LOVED it!. Sadly ran out of spending money so couldn't renew subscription. O well... =\. Graphics are colorfull and in detail with an anime look in a 3d enviroment.

Final Fantasy XI Online (playonline.com)

I LOVE THIS GAME... my absence was do to this blasted game LOL. It is the BEST graphics I have ever seen (comparing it to wow.....wtf neon purple?) anyway 3 contries (Sand'oria, Bastok, Windurst) are at peace and fight against a evil army called the beastmen. The stoy gets deeper but I am not gonna tell you :bleh:... any way it has a really good battlesystem including tactics like skillchains and magicbursts. Not for the people who want to be lvl 60 in 3/4 of a month (cough*cough*WOW*cough*cough).

May I recommend Final Fantasy 11? The game is a subscription-based game and comes with 30 day Free Trial. It is an outdated game but the game is being consistently updated.
