Silent Hunter

Hey all, Ive tried to buy this game from evry pc store around where i live but no one seems to have it, and ive only found it on one web site (which you need a certain ammount of "download credits", which is alot for it, and would take a LONG time to get. Silent Hunter, its by far the best submarine sim out there. Is there anyway you can get it or point me in the right direction as to where to find it.??

I got Deer Hunter II on a cd.... but its a WIN 95 game sooooo...... Still I don't like the though of killing inocent animles for pleasuer. For some reason though killing humans is fine by me :rifle: LOL

I checked moby.... I* REMEBER THIS GAME!!!! it was so fun, blowing up the ships.... I love the depth charge fmv that played (more like a picture that shook around LOL.

The site i found it on must have somekind of agreement, ive heard the sequals to the game (silent hunter 2&3 ) are not nearly as good as the origiional, or i would just buy them. Ill keep looking

Silent Hunter 2 was crap. Silent Hunter 3 didn't come out yet. Silent Hunter was good but the pacific theatre doesn't appeal to me unless you command a Japanese sub.

well there was a commanders pack(expansion) that gave the atlantic campains. If u like subsims i found aces of the deep, your a german, the next best one ive played to silent hunter.

American submarine campaigns in the Atlantic? That sounds a bit weird.

Being on the Allied side in any game doesn't appeal to me. I can't stand it. In WWII games I always pick Germany and if I can't I don't play them.

It could be that it is not abandoware yet, however i was at the underdogs who hadf a link where you could supposedly buy it. well it turns out they only have Silent hunter2. But not the first part of this simulation. so i was wondering could it be abandoware? and furthermore is there any chance we might see it here?

But if you ask me, you're better off buying the new Silent Hunter 3, which IMO is far superior to the first two games (provided your machine can run it, that is).

Does anybody know this Game? It´s called Silent Hunter 1.

In the game you are the Capitain of an U-Boat in World War II.

The Timeline in the game goes from 1941 to 1944.

The game was released 1996 by Mindscape.
