Hiatus

I'm going to take a hiatus from Abandonia for a while. When I first joined, I only intended on posting only for stuff I needed or for uploading games. But I loved the forum and its people so much that I decided to start posting just for fun. And I can't do that anymore.

I need to stop posting on forums just for fun, because every time I have in the past, something bad always happened. Not to say something bad happened here, but it could, and I don't want to risk it. I already have enough injuries.

So I'm leaving for a while. But if and when I come back, no more casual threads from me. I'm just gonna post for something I need or for uploading and/or offering a game.

Due to my overstepping my privileges on the site by trying to throw together a better tournament than Expack's Team Fortress 2 tournament, but resorting to emulators and ROMs because the game I wanted to use doesn't support LAN normally, I'm going on another hiatus from Abandonia. I've been posting on here too much, and like I said before, I CANNOT post on forums just for fun. Bad things have always happened to me because of it. I don't want it to happen here as well.

When I come back, there will be fewer posts and MUCH LESS use of the Chatbox from me.

You haven't overstepped any privileges Spidol, it's just that we very simply don't deal with ROMs. It's nothing personal.

The entire point is that Abandonia cannot be linked to ROM distribution. The problem was not your competition idea, but you distributing the ROMs to players. Come up with a solution that does not involve linking to or distributing ROMs. There are a few possibilities. :)

Just wait for Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to come out on August 31st 2011. That should clear up any problems you might have.
