Screen shot error? Or just shoddy graphic ethics?

shoddy wesson international (http://www.abandonia.com/en/company/Wesson+International)'s graphic ethics, you don't have that power/thermal bar at the bottom :)

No errors; The two games are very very similar. But if you look closely at the two games' screenshots, you'll see that the primary difference is that Lunar Command has several big interface improvements.

As for the screenshots themselves, the aspect ratio had to be adjusted slightly because the game runs in 640x480 resolution, and Abandonia's format specifies 320x200 resolution. The distortion is minimal, however, so I wasn't worried about it.

Been playing this game all evening. Pretty fun so far, but pretty light on documentation. As mentioned elsewhere, longevity of the individual instance is not nearly as great as the replay value.
I got fusion power fairly early on in one of my games. The price of helium went from 150 to 2870 overnight. Don't bother with helium mining unless you have had a research breakthrough.

Two thoughts so far.
The LOX workers seem to go on strike more than the factory workers. Yes, less value per good, but if the LOX guys aren't working while the electronics guys are, then its going to be worth it. I'm going to try a game with no LOX factory, and see if I can make a go of it solely on electronics and materials.

The craters have different LOX values when you survey several flags in the same crater. Does this mean its required to survey each space inside each crater if you're looking for water? Do they have different H2O values within the same crater as well?

I haven't found a map with water yet, and I was playing dangerous dave or something when this game came out, so I don't know much about it.

Thoughts?

Wow, didn't know about this. I played the original MoonBase on the Amiga quite a bit in the mid 90's.

How do you get sound working in DosBox?

When you find water the tile will turn to a white "ice" colour. All H2O values are 10% and they will be in every tile in the crater in question
