FYI:
The download links above are for a "Special Edition" ISO I made, which replaces the game's American soundtrack with the original Japanese soundtrack. The PC version was released in all territories with the American music, even in Japan (which is why I made the Special Japanese ISO).

Part 3 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?7dv2yucvctw32vu [112 MB]For the Special Japanese ISO, you need the K-Lite Codec Pack to watch the cinematics in-game. You shouldn't need it for the original ISO though.

So, I downloaded it and mounted the .cue file and everything worked great for installing and running the game, but the music won't work. I tried to make it read the music as digital, but my computer won't allow that. Is there a way of ripping the music and then getting the game to read that instead?
I'm running this with my Windows 98 SE laptop, which apparently doesn't allow for digital audio playback from the CD drive.

Sorry if I'm bumping, but it doesn't seem to be working properly.
There is no music and it freezes after the Palmtree Panic title card appears.
I have the Sonic CD patch, the K-Lite codec thingy and I'm running it on 256c.....

I burned the game, installed it, and patched it, but there's no intro at the beginning. It's just a blank square, but the music plays. I have K-lite Codec pack installed, but can you tell me specificly what codec i need?

I Had That Problem too.
Download The Sonic CD Iso From TotalAnarchy,
Mount It.
Install Sonic CD.
Go Inside That Same Iso And Use SonicCDPatch.exe and Open It on where soniccd.exe is.
Last But Not Least, Set Sonic CD To Windows 95 Compatability, Run As Administrator, Use 256 Colors And Presto.
Thats How I Fixed My problem with the freezing up

I'm having trouble with both the ISO version and the ripped version.
With the ISO version, after mounting the .cue, when I try to run it I get the message: "This program must be run under Win32" (My computer is Windows 7 64-bit, but I downloaded the Win32 version of DOSBox and it seems to work apart from this.)
With the ripped version, after opening it (in 256-color mode), I get an error message saying "CD Check File is not found". When I close that message, the game still runs and I can start a game, but Palmtree Panic is just an empty screen where Sonic falls to his death.
If I do manage to get it running I have a couple of questions about music:
1. On the ISO version, can I replace the music tracks (say, with the looping versions) and how?
2. On the ripped version, can I add music tracks and where?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...
I've had problems getting Sonic Cd to work.
I've downloaded the cue/bin files, extracted them and loaded them with Daemon Tools.
I've installed the game, applied the patch, and set compatibility to Windows 95, 256 colours & run as admin.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
When I run the SonicCd.exe file, it says "There is a problem with your media device. Make sure it is working correctly or contact the device manufacturer."
I press ok, it brings the same message up again, meanwhile sonic loads in a very small window in the center of the screen. It can't be resized. When I select Start Game **** New Game the game crashes - Windows tells me SONICCD.EXE has stopped worked, Windows can check online...etc etc etc.
Any suggestions as to how I may be able to get this working would be greatly appreciated!

However, on some hardware it won't work.
Then you'll need or XPmode or VPC2007 on Win7 64.

The parts are all one disc. Sorry it took so long to answer that question. :P
Anyways, I found these while digging through my hard drives for something. I made these images back in July of last year (about one or two months before Sonic CD got put on Abandonia). They're the covers and disc label for the custom "Japanese Music" ISO that I made. It's not much, but it gets the job done:

Hello guys, someone could fix the links Sonic CD, the original version without changes? If possible in format BIN / CUE to be verified by Redump. The American and Japanese versions have differences in the PC version?

OK, OK, I really have put this off too long. I still have the discs for the American and Japanese soundtracks, so I'll upload both game versions to my 4shared account later tonight.

I'll save the day:
SEGA PC RELOADED
Sonic CD, Sonic & Knuckles Collection, and Sonic 3D Blast, all optimized to run on modern computers!
Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KPO5CK-ROG6ICXEe95r-V8DBqDYlXaIX/view?usp=sharing
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Extract the archive wherever you want.
2. Run SEGAPCReloaded.exe in the folder's root directory.
3. On the upper left of the launcher window, select Install Game, and select "Sonic CD", "Sonic 3D Blast", or "Sonic & Knuckles Collection".
4. A window will pop up asking if you wanna install from the original discs, or select a folder where it's already installed. Select "Already Installed", and select the corresponding game folder in the root directory.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the other two games.
6. Go back to the game selection portion of the launcher, select "Launch Game", then select one of the three games. Enjoy!
NOTES:
-You should not have to configure anything (except maybe the controls). I took care of all that. The CD Audio for Sonic CD and Sonic 3D Blast is also fully intact.
-There's two game folders for Sonic CD, one labeled JP and one labeled US. The JP folder uses the original Japanese soundtrack and FMVs, while the US folder uses the North American soundtrack and FMVs. You can switch between the two by selecting Install Game from the launcher and reinstalling Sonic CD.
-The graphics will appear distorted unless you run the games at a resolution that's a multiple of 320x240, such as 640x480 and 1280x960. 1280x1024 looks OK as well.
