I remeber playin the original Amarican Laser Games, games. The 2 I played most was maddog Mcree and Drugwars. if any one can get these I would be extremly happy. My freakin drugwars cd was scratched :(

yeah I have Maddog and Maddog II. If Abandonia approves I am willing to let them have the sequel since someone has already said they would provide the 2nd one. Don't know if it's abandon though.

That 1 at amazon doesn't count... I'm prety sure it's second hand, but those at CDAccess are a problem. The box has a whole new cover - I've the old original - first CD edition, that's old enough but definetly doesn't run under XP like they claim it does, so they brushed it up and put it in stores again. :not_ok:

I don't think the one Amazon itself is selling is a second hand one, actually. However, it's just one copy so it doesn't really mean anything when the talk is about the abandonware status.

The CDAccess one; nothing wrong with fixing a game to work on newer operating systems. It makes the old classics available for a wider audience, and that's just nice.

Haven't seen the DOS version for sale anywhere, though.. that might be the hole Abandonia could exploit, if wanted.

EDIT: By the way, as an FMV game it might be a bit too big for Abandonia.. and ripping those is pointless.

By :not_ok: I was refering to the fact that they remade it - and are still selling it - so it's not abandoned. I'm glad that at least some people are bringing old games up to date and are not letting them die! BTW I just made and ISO file of the original DOS game and it 77,5 MB (when zipped). Is that still too big - even with the new server?
