Riddle Of Master Lu freezing

Hi there,
I have a problem with this game. When I talk to Wolf in Danzig the game freezes with the clock showing. It's not a computer problem because the music keeps going, it seems like the game is loading but never does. Anyone encountered this problem before?

well.. and how do you expect us to help if you didn't tell us about the problem?

*about your computer (at least os would be nice)
*which version of the game do you have? mac or dos?
*are you running dosbox to run the game? (if it's dos)
*any other special setup? patches?

-Windows 7 64 bit
-4gb ram
-ATI Radeon 4870 1gb graphics

Dos version

Yes, i'm running dosbox under d-fend.

No, I don't think there are any dos patches for the game. There are three patches for the windows version, and these are for specific problems which I don't have issues with.

I can't think of anything else, except I discovered this forum post which is the exact same issue as mine. It says that changing dosbox settings can fix the issue, although it doesn't say WHICH settings need to be changed. http://justadventure.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1237386107

Well, he said it's in his member review. Here you go: "Under DOSbox it ran without problem once the cycles = entry in the DOSbox config file was set below 10000. Above this figure there were timing problems and the game froze occasionally."
