Server doesn't matter for how much you've downloaded. What I did notice, is that you're likely to be *meep*ed, as eMule rarely connects and starts downloading. Especially to almost 700Mb. I can know... I still got some things in que since July, which are half a Mb done >_< Bloody eMule.

Now that you're so far: keep trying.

Then toss eMule out and try something decent.

I solved my proble very strange in a way. I renamed the file but forgot to put an extension. Then I resumed the download and it completed. Then once in my HD in renamed it back to .RAR file and it worked

Strange indeed. As said before: eMule just likes to act up whenever it feels like it :bleh:

*Isn't too big a fan of eMule after waiting seven months for a few things to download... only getting 400Kb or so in*

Your download is being stored in temp files, and only after download is completed, it moves to different directory.

eMule is very slow in many cases, but if you leave computer on for couple days, it runs faster. (I have upload speed limited to 12KBs, and my downloads go up to 140KBs.

Yeah, I use emule too and after a little while it starts working well. It also depends on how many sources you have for the specified download.
