suggestion

Email the companies in question - ask not to make it freeware etc (dont mention this site) but if you feel like doing some lobbying of games companies email them and ask them to make their old games catalogues more available in mainstream stores and on more internet distribution websites. See how many respond.

Yeah i know it is not abondonware BUT you said you could ask for a place to buy a game..

So, is there anywhere in the UK that sells MI3? 'Cos otherwise it would mean shipping from the US or is that the only option?

I don't know of any place that sells new copies of the game, but why don't you try http://www.amazon.co.uk ?

Pretty sure amazon only sells the games in packs of the first 3 and ive got both the first 2 so don't wana waste ?40 on 'em.

If you have a larger game-store near you, or look up a telephone-nr for an "EB-games" store, they usualy are able to order home a copy or two. The it's just a matter of getting it to your place.
I had no problems getting my local EB-games store taking home a copy of Total Annihilation expantion, and i must say that it was a pretty rare specimin. Might have been lucky, but larger game-chains have more resources when digging up semi-old games.

I'm sure that e-Bay has it. But, of course, you have to be one of those e-Bay-buyers...
